The use of grey and white creates a subtle beauty that's not overwhelmingly traditional. It gives your home a clean and fresh appearance both inside and out! However, if you use too many shaded grays, certain sections will appear dominating and predictable. As a result, we chose to design and include cedar siding to complement the color palette with a strong and brilliant Burnished Amber tint. The front entry accentuated the wood siding, which is surrounded by a uniformly beautiful gray and white palette. The window appeared to be moving onto this light side of the home as well. The overall exterior concept is a modern gray and white home with a burnished amber tone.

Louisa, San Clemente Coastal Modern Architecture The brief for this modern coastal home was to create a place where the clients and their children and their families could gather to enjoy all the beauty of living in Southern California. Maximizing the lot was key to unlocking the potential of this property so the decision was made to excavate the entire property to allow natural light and ventilation to circulate through the lower level of the home. A courtyard with a green wall and olive tree act as the lung for the building as the coastal breeze brings fresh air in and circulates out the old through the courtyard. The concept for the home was to be living on a deck, so the large expanse of glass doors fold away to allow a seamless connection between the indoor and outdoors and feeling of being out on the deck is felt on the interior. A huge cantilevered beam in the roof allows for corner to completely disappear as the home looks to a beautiful ocean view and Dana Point harbor in the distance. All of the spaces throughout the home have a connection to the outdoors and this creates a light, bright and healthy environment. Passive design principles were employed to ensure the building is as energy efficient as possible. Solar panels keep the building off the grid and and deep overhangs help in reducing the solar heat gains of the building. This 3,569-square foot, 3-story new build was part of Dallas's Green Build Program. This minimalist rocker pad boasts beautiful energy efficiency, painted brick, wood beams and serves as the perfect backdrop to Dallas' favorite landmarks near popular attractions, like White Rock Lake and Deep Ellum; a melting pot of art, music, and nature. Walk into this home and you're greeted with industrial accents and minimal Mid-Century Modern flair. Expansive windows flood the open-floor plan living room/dining area in light. The homeowner wanted a pristine space that reflects his love of alternative rock bands. To bring this into his new digs, all the walls were painted white and we added pops of bold colors through custom-framed band posters, paired with velvet accents, vintage-inspired patterns, and jute fabrics. A modern take on hippie style with masculine appeal. A gleaming example of how eclectic-chic living can have a place in your modern abode, showcased by nature, music memorabilia and bluesy hues. The bedroom is a masterpiece of contrast. The dark hued walls contrast with the room's luxurious velvet cognac bed. Fluted mid-century furniture is found alongside metal and wood accents with greenery, which help to create an opulent, welcoming atmosphere for this home. “When people come to my home, the first thing they say is that it looks like a magazine! As nice as it looks, it is inviting and comfortable and we use it. I enjoyed the entire process working with Veronica and her team. Goals for the kitchen: Create a statement. The island is adorned with Bently quartz from Cambria. It steered each selection of the kitchen from the black chevron backlash to the gold bamboo-look pendants. The appliances coordinate with the black and gold finishes as well, the JennAir range’s is dressed in brass bezel accents and the stainless-steel apron-front sink is brushed with a brass decorative front.

Larger format porcelain slab for ease of maintenance and modern industrial pergola with outdoor heating above for added comfort and protection from outdoor elements. Intricately placed lighting helps to create amazing nighttime ambiance.

A fusion of European oak, rustic ledgestone, steel and porcelain lends an organic vibe to this desert modern home. The residence won Drewett Works a Golden Nugget award in 2021. The marble vanity top includes a white vessel sink for easy cleaning providing the bathroom with a contemporary look. 1 Full-extension solid wood drawer and 2 special doors with soft-close and smooth hardware provide ample storage. Its floating design is space-saving and makes your bathroom look more capacious. - 31.5"W x 15.8"D x 16.5"H (800mmW x 400mmD x 420mmH) vanity provides ample storage space. - Includes large center cabinet, 2 doors with soft-close hardware, and 1 full-extension drawer. - Marble vanity top includes a white ceramic vessel sink for easy cleaning. - Vanity top is pre-drilled for a 1.38 in. single hole faucet (faucet not included) - Smooth black color and white vanity top are perfect for any modern bath decor. - Easy to install with minimal assembly required.

Garden Makeover Using Millboard in Harefield This garden had been used until it couldn’t really be used anymore. The pine decking was falling apart and really wasn’t safe. The clients called Karl in to help make the garden a usable space that could be enjoyed again. Starting by clearing the garden which took 3 eight-yard skips. The team then used an excavator to define the elevation differences. Now the team had space to build a new deck. The client chose Millboard Limed Oak decking because they liked the colour and natural texture. The step on this deck also has a hidden LED strip routed into the underside of the board. This is controlled via a remote that also controls the water feature and various garden spotlights. The team also installed a new fake lawn so George the tortoise has a space to wander around that is separate from the decking area. The clients keep a range of animals in their garden including some rabbits and guinea pigs that dwell in hutches. To help make these hutches more a part of the garden the team moved them to the back left corner. The client used Cranesbill purple geraniums and Athyrium Ferns to help disguise the area.

This beautiful small guest bathroom was completely transformed. Matte porcelain tiles in varying sizes and patterns were used throughout. To make the space appear larger we used a vanity with an open shelf on the bottom and a frameless bypass shower door.
