Our old gas fireplace was not working anymore. Went to Maxwell Fireplace and Meredith, VP, assisted us in getting a new gas fireplace even though there were a few size restrictions Very pleased with installation being done by Robin and Dylan. They were not only professional but also friendly and explained what they were doing as they were installing & changing the chimney parts. The new fireplace is more modern-looking and very efficient. This summer we did a reno in our condo and wanted to replace the existing gas fireplace with a new, modern design. We were having difficulty choosing a fireplace vendor in the Vancouver area until we found Fireplace by Maxwell. Immediately, we saw the professional approach of this company. They quickly came to our site to provide a quote and approximate timing (short) for installation. When we realized that what we wanted would require customization the Fireplace by Maxwell team were on board. They helped us with design and indicated what was and was not possible. Our design required some custom trim which was produced for us. The Fireplace by Maxwell installation crew was courteous and knowledgeable and completed the work in just a few hours on the day originally agreed. The price did not vary from their quote. Unfortunately, the piece of custom trim got a bit banged up during our construction so Fireplace by Maxwell offered to refinish it for us at no cost. This was greatly appreciated. We definitely recommend Fireplace by Maxwell to anyone needing a new gas fireplace and looking for a well-qualified, professional team to provide it.
