Platform 5 are Architects of the Possible. We transform London and countryside homes, unlocking challenging sites to create exceptional places to live. Our private homes are shaped around the people who live in them. We start by understanding how you want to live, then explore what your site or existing home could become. The result is architecture that feels personal to you and connected to its setting. We work on extensions and complete transformations of London homes, as well as new houses in the city, countryside and by the water. We have particular experience unlocking challenging sites and navigating complex planning situations, including Conservation Areas, Green Belt and sensitive landscapes. We guide clients through the whole process, from the first ideas and planning strategy through design, construction and completion. 3D design, BIM and virtual reality allow you to experience the spaces as they develop and make decisions with confidence. Light, materials, landscape and connection to nature run through our work. Our aim is not simply to make a beautiful house, but to create a home that changes how you experience everyday life. Founded in London in 2006, Platform 5’s work has been recognised by the RIBA Awards, NLA Don’t Move, Improve!, AJ Small Projects and the Blueprint Awards, and has been widely featured in publications including Dezeen and Wallpaper.
