LCM Builders

We were so fortunate to find Hans and the LCM team for the remodeling of our 1940 home. From the very beginning they were approachable, interested and engaged in the project, really bringing the house to a historically appropriate and comfortable place to call home. They were committed to completing all phases of the house with care, whether the unseen (plumbing, electrical, hvac) or highly visible (kitchen remodel, four bathrooms remodeled, bump-outs, etc). We can’t imagine having tackled the project with anyone else. Would absolutely trust them with any project and we are grateful to know them. We were a bit sad to see the team leave, as they were always a delight to have around. We learned a lot from their approach and eye for detail. Can’t recommend highly enough.

What's a more sacred space that your home? Who would you trust to partner with to help you design and co-create that space? For us, we wanted someone who "got us", would partner with us to really understand what we were envisioning for the way we wanted to live in our home and work collaboratively to make it happen. For us, there is no one better than LCM to partner with. In fact, we have done multiple home projects with them in the last 8 years one two homes, our condo and recommended them for work in the condominium building. We can not recommend LCM highly enough, they are fantastic at what they do and incredible partners.

LCM is top notch, and a true pleasure to work with. Hans and his team hold themselves to their own sky-high standards, more than satisfying customer expectations. That was certainly my experience working with them on the design and construction of a new two-story single-family home in Seattle, WA. They're capable, creative, good spirited and reliable. I've had a close look at several of their other construction projects as well. LCM builds homes which are solid, handsome, and a pleasure to inhabit.

Hans and his guys completed a major addition to our home. We added 2 bedrooms and a bathroom to the second floor of our house and remodeled the kitchen. There was a lot of structural work on this project, which they handled in stride. When it was time to install the main ridge beam and the crane company said they wouldn't do it because of telephone wires, Hans and the guys did it the old fashioned way with pure manpower. They slowly lifted the huge beam from the ground in the backyard little by little until it was in the notches at the top of the roof. Hans knew we had a tight budget and worked creatively to stay within it and meeting our goals both practically and aesthetically. We love our house! I highly recommend LCM for ANY of your construction needs.

It was a joy working with LCM Builders. They were respectful of my home, were available when I had questions, and they understood my vision. They also had no qualms about using my plumber instead of one of their own. I'd highly recommend them.

LCM made our kitchen remodeling process fun! From beginning to end we were completely thrilled with the work, professionalism, and service with a smile. We hired LCM to remodel our kitchen and back porch. LCM had creative ideas to contribute and we were able to finish the project on time and stay on budget. The work is beautiful and we are completely satisfied by the craftsmanship and attention to detail! All of the LCM team were a joy to work with and completely respectful and pleasant to have in our home.

We found Lcm Builders through friends. They were happy working with Lcm Builders, and with the outcome of their project. We are very satisfied with the work that Lcm Builders has done for us. They are very thurough and professional and quick to respond. Lcm Builders worked with us resolving some leak issues on a second foor deck, put in a skylight for us, and now we are starting to plan a remodel of our basement with them. The folks who work with Lcm Builders are ackowledgable, professional and overall excellent to work with.

Hans and his company did a wonderful job of remodeling our condo this past summer. We're very pleased with the advice he gave us, the quality of materials he chose, and the quality of work his craftsmen did. Hans also went to great lengths to meet the estimate he quoted us. In fact, he actually came in a bit under the bid. Finally, Hans and his craftsmen were great to deal with. They were very personable and professional, which helped make the whole process comfortable for us. Thanks, Hans, Chris, Michael, Andy, and everybody else involved in the project!

My husband and I hired LCM Builders to remove an old backyard deck and construct a new one. Our consultations regarding design and materials were very helpful, not only in creating the beauty of the deck, but fitting materials with our life style. As we were not in a hurry we let our job be a low priority. It was completed in a timely manner by friendly and competant workers. LCM Builders is on our SPEED dial should we have any other construction projects.

Armed only with our wish list, we called Hans, owner of LCM Builders, who responded promptly. His review of our varied project requests was thorough, the bid process professional and complete. Our projects included multiple components from carpentry to electrical to plaster work both inside and outside. The Lead assigned to our project was exceptional, professionally and personally, as were the sub contractors who were on time, skilled, considerate of the property and amazingly efficient. Working in an almost 100 year old home can present surprises and we were fortunate that there were few, however, those that did arise were addressed with skill and careful attention. Given that we knew only what we wanted done, the collaboration extended to us by the entire crew was an unanticipated bonus. The accuracy of the initial bid was further proof of the expertise of this contractor. From beginning to end our experience with LCM Builders was positive and the results well beyond satisfactory.

I am just completing a backyard cottage with Hans and LCM builders. As an architect, I have the opportunity to work with numerous contractors and LCM builders really stand out with the rare combination of good communication skills and competitive pricing. On this particular project they were involved from the beginning of the design process where they provided valuable insight and reliable cost estimating. During construction they were forward thinking asking the right questions to insure that the project stayed on budget and on time. I highly recommend them to my clients and I look forward to our next project which will be another small house.

I asked LCM Builders for an estimate to enlarge and improve the roof of my front porch and to build a shelter for my trash/recycling/yard waste cans. Hans came out the next day and took measurements, made drawings and asked style and function questions. He sent me a fair estimate by email and I agreed to the work. Lumber and plexiglass orders were made and the work was done and cleaned up within a week. I am very happy with the work of LCM Builders. My porch looks better, is more functional and now has more light . The "disguise " for my waste cans is a big improvement to the front of my house and I am looking forward to having them do something similar to my back porch soon. Highly skilled workers with an eye to aesthetics balanced with friendly and respectful work habits make this company at the top of my list for construction and design.
