Darren created an excellent new-build house design for us, and we’re extremely pleased with the result. They understood our needs, communicated clearly, and guided us smoothly through the planning and building control process. Inner Create provided a detailed retrofit plan to reduce the carbon footprint of our house: various way to improve the insulation, ventilation, solar PV and heat pump. They provided a staged proposal, with estimates of the capital costs, changes to the annual energy bills, and carbon saving implications of each stage. We decided to go ahead with the insulation, ventilation and solar PV immediately (we might get a heat pump when our boiler needs replacing), and we paid Inner Create to oversee the work. We were usure whether it was worth the cost of Inner Create overseeing the work, but having them identify reliable contractors and checking the standard of the work, and Darren being on hand to advise when any issues arose* was very valuable. We are very satisfied with the quality of the work and paying Inner Create was money well spent. *For example, the PV installers noticed a problem with our chimney when they were on the roof, and, though it didn't affect their work, they drew our (and Darren's) attention to it. Darren put us in touch with a builder who was able to come and fix the problem.

Darren was very easy and pleasant to work with and came up with some imaginative ideas for our requirements. This was quite a large project which involved a significant reconfiguration of both the ground and first floors. It involved much supervision work from Darren which he carried out effectively. Inner creat did a great job on our kitchen extension, we had a bit of a vision, but they really helped bring it to life, and make it more than we had ever hoped. They went above and beyond helping us to with tricky conversations with our freeholder too making a stressful project a lot more straight forward! We love our new kitchen!

We have used Inner Create for some smaller work involving conservatories and planning permission, we generally introduce our customers for Inner Create to deal with. We asked Darren to give us ideas of how to extend our home because we had seen an extended house similar to ours, where he had been the architect. He asked us if we had thought about extending into our loft area rather than extending our foot print, giving us the pros and cons of both. We chose to go into the loft, giving us 2 extra bedrooms and a bathroom, and his design was spot on. Very professional and helpful throughout the whole process - we would highly recommend him.
