We hired Dan to remodel our 1959 bathroom and bring it into the 21st century. At the same time, he replaced several of our windows and updated moldings and heaters. We had lots of ideas about what we wanted, and Dan used his expertise to help us come up with a workable plan that addressed all of our needs. He led a team of outstanding subcontractors and systematically worked through demolition to the completed project and did it right on time. Dan paid close attention and made sure each step was properly completed. He was conscientious in keeping the work site clean and scheduling subs so that things happened on time. He is great at communicating so we always knew what was going on. There was never any drama or excuses, in fact we were sad to see him finish because we enjoyed working with him so much. He has very high standards and the quality of his work is outstanding. We can't wait to hire him again for our next project!

We got Dan's name from other very happy clients - word of mouth is the best for recommendations. Dan and his very professional crew completed a total demolition of our 1977's kitchen and pantry. Everything was torn down including a wall between the old kitchen and dining room. We ended up with a beautiful, very useable new space that looks like it's always been there. We have now remodeled our whole house and this project was the easiest by far (he's chosen a good name and byline for his company!). The project calendar was right on target which made it easy for us to adjust our lives when necessary. It amazes me that a contractor can give a start and end date that is actually met.

Dan remodeled our 1948 pink-tiled bathroom in 2019. He removed the tub, removed the floor, moved an existing exterior window, redid all the trim, and coordinated the plumbing, tile, electrical, and flooring subs. He was super conscientious about dust containment throughout the job. He worked with us on timeline and let us do the painting (our choice). He made useful suggestions throughout but left final choices to us. The final bid came in below his estimate. He is a good guy and I wouldn't hesitate to hire him again; our new shower is fantastic! Our bathroom is small so hard to get a good picture; should have taken a before with the ugly tub:)

Placid Construction remodeled our kitchen. Dan did an absolutely beautiful job. He gave us a time line of when things were going to get done. He doesn't try to sell you on what he thinks you should get. Instead helps you find a way to get what you want in your budget. I will never hesitate to use Placid Construction in the future.

Dan Henderer did an excellent job of replacing a failing, leaky sunroom glass cover with a much better roof and walls. Dan met his schedule and budget projections and made me feel like I had a very capable and professional person doing the work. I will not hesitate to call on him in the future for any major repairs or upgrades to our house. The work was performed in the fall of 2017.

We hired Dan to repair and update a full bath, half bath and office closet damaged from a water leak. He was very professional to work with, organized, attentive to details, timely, and enjoyable to work with. He stuck to his timeline and to his bid. We are very pleased with the results, and we will definitely hire him again for any future projects.

Dan completed various construction projects on our 1921 home in August of 2017. I can't speak highly enough of him and have recommended him to our friends. He has a high degree of skill and is meticulous in his work. He is courteous, timely, efficient, and accommodating. I loved coming home and seeing how he repaired and improved upon our home making exterior repairs to the siding, windows, deck railings, brackets, door, etc. Some of it was very tricky given the age of our home and he made it all seamlessly match. We can't wait to have him start interior work for us. Dan's cost was also very reasonable. He was also good at explaining things when I had questions.
