“We love our new kitchen! Powell did everything we asked, with careful attention to detail, and completed the project as budgeted. We did a full remodel: new flooring, cabinets, countertop, appliances. Powell prepared -- and stuck to -- a detailed (and quite reasonable) budget and schedule. We thought we were detail-oriented people; they are even more so. They kept a lead carpenter on site throughout the actual work, who was great at both conveying our wishes to the subcontractors and doing the hard work of getting all the finishing touches just right. You were exactly the responsible, creative, and "responsive" manager I expected, especially given the challenging supply issues, sub availability issues, change orders, and my Gavin issues. Patient and kind to a troubled "little old lady"--much appreciated. Jerry: extremely responsive, expert craftsman, concerned about finding everything that needed fixing and seeing that it did get fixed. In addition to his expert carpentry, demolition, and construction on the big items (deck, gazebo, siding, bath carpentry), he did lots of fix up and clean up which was greatly appreciated by me who couldn't manage either mentally or physically , e.g. filling in water-filled pathway and foundation holes, getting every rodent-chewed wire fixed, patching holes in house and shop. Patient and kind--helped a lot. Dennis: responsive, creative and expert craftsman dealing with "pigs ears" existing cabinetry. He was also extra helpful with getting audio/video equipment re-installed and working. Also very patient and kind--helped a lot. Thanks again for your help over both projects.
