After carefully scrutinizing a field of many designers, I hired Laurel Brown to re-design my home in Madison, Wisconsin. In a word, I would say that she and her Brownhouse Design Team are EXCEPTIONAL. They re-designed much of the home, which included structural re-design, architectural interior design features, and top-to-bottom furniture, paint, lighting and other interior design selections. I had asked Laurel to help design a home that would be comfortable for both my family and for corporate parties- and she delivered just that. I found that Laurel was: a) tremendously knowledgeable and skilled at her craft, b) highly attentive to my likes/dislikes/needs, c) warm and friendly personality and working relationship, and d) great commitment to the project timeline and budget. I can't say enough positive things about Brownhouse and would recommend them without any reservation. In fact, we've recently engaged Laurel to help design a new home in Phoenix, AZ. I have every confidence the new home will be as spectacular as the first.

We used Brownhouse to help redesign space on the ground level and master bathroom as well as provide furniture throughout the house. We loved the furniture that Laurel helped us select. It was so unique. She has a flair for color and style.
