This lovely Victorian house in Battersea was tired and dated before we opened it up and reconfigured the layout. We added a full width extension with Crittal doors to create an open plan kitchen/diner/play area for the family, and added a handsome deVOL shaker kitchen.

Once the walls came down, Gayler enlarged the living room windows to maximize the sunset and sunrise views—letting as much soothing, natural light into the room as possible. In keeping with the open concept theme, the pony wall around the downstairs stairwell was removed and replaced with a decorative iron railing.

Traditional coastal Hamptons style home designed and built by Stritt Design and Construction. A traditional Hamptons style cut stringer stairwell was created using dark hardwood treads and hand rail with white balustrades and risers. V Joint lining board and panelling details are featured on the walls.

This colonial home in Penn Valley, PA, needed a complete interior renovation. Working closely with the owners, we renovated all three floors plus the basement. Now the house is bright and light, featuring open layouts, loads of natural light, and a clean design maximizing family living areas. The owners wanted to update the existing dated staircase by removing the half wall and wood posts. New custom built Chippendale panels replaced the half wall giving the staircase an open feel and allowing more light in. New stairs were also installed from the ground to second floors.
