A circular informal dining table is centered between the expansive kitchen and great room, and also services the covered porch and grilling area. Its visual impact begins at the home’s entry hallway.

We used the clients existing dining furniture but added beautiful drapery, grasscloth wallpaper, a new rug, a beautiful chandelier along with art and accessories.

We designed this room with a modern classic aesthetic. Against a backdrop of clean white walls and medium tone flooring, we placed an oval dining table finished in a rich espresso finish with flecks of gold and with tapered, fluted legs with gold ferrules to evoke a sense of sophistication in the space. We matched that with klismos-inspired dining chairs upholstered in a gray leather with nailhead details. A beautiful chandelier goes above the table and abstract Benson-Cobb framed artwork ties in with the rest of the space. Framing the setup is a beautiful area rug with modern classic elements.

Após 8 anos no apartamento, morando conforme o padrão entregue pela construtora, os proprietários resolveram fazer um projeto que refletisse a identidade deles. Desafio aceito! Foram 3 meses de projeto, 2 meses de orçamentos/planejamento e 4 meses de obra. Aproveitamos os móveis existentes, criamos outros necessários, aproveitamos o piso de madeira. Instalamos ar condicionado em todos os dormitórios e sala e forro de gesso somente nos ambientes necessários. Na sala invertemos o layout criando 3 ambientes. A sala de jantar ficou mais próxima à cozinha e recebeu a peça mais importante do projeto, solicitada pela cliente, um lustre de cristal. Um estar junto do cantinho do bar. E o home theater mais próximo à entrada dos quartos e próximo à varanda, onde ficou um cantinho para relaxar e ler, com uma rede e um painel verde com rega automatizada. Na cozinha de móveis da Elgin Cuisine, trocamos o piso e revestimos as paredes de fórmica. Na suíte do casal, colocamos forro de gesso com sanca e repaginamos as paredes com papel de parede branco, deixando o espaço clean e chique. Para o quarto do Mateus de 9 anos, utilizamos uma decoração que facilmente pudesse mudar na chegada da sua adolescência. Fã de Corinthians e de uma personalidade forte, solicitou que uma frase de uma música inspiradora fosse escrita na parede. O artista plástico Ronaldo Cazuza fez a arte a mão-livre. Os brinquedos ainda ficaram, mas as cores mais sóbrias da parede, mesa lateral, tapete e cortina deixam espaço para futura mutação menino-garoto. A cadeira amarela deixa o espaço mais descontraído. Todos os banheiros foram 100% repaginados, cada um com revestimentos que mais refletiam a personalidade de cada morador, já que cada um tem o seu privativo. This was originally 2 rooms (a small dining room & office). I had the ceiling raised, lighting added, wainscoting added, and all new furnishings. This is a growing family, adding grandkids every year! So, I had a 16ft farm table built to ensure there would be enough space to seat everyone...up to 20 people. It turned out beautifully and my clients couldn't be happier. Simple decor & lighting (Pottery barn) keeps this space elegant and clean.

Perched high above the Islington Golf course, on a quiet cul-de-sac, this contemporary residential home is all about bringing the outdoor surroundings in. In keeping with the French style, a metal and slate mansard roofline dominates the façade, while inside, an open concept main floor split across three elevations, is punctuated by reclaimed rough hewn fir beams and a herringbone dark walnut floor. The elegant kitchen includes Calacatta marble countertops, Wolf range, SubZero glass paned refrigerator, open walnut shelving, blue/black cabinetry with hand forged bronze hardware and a larder with a SubZero freezer, wine fridge and even a dog bed. The emphasis on wood detailing continues with Pella fir windows framing a full view of the canopy of trees that hang over the golf course and back of the house. This project included a full reimagining of the backyard landscaping and features the use of Thermory decking and a refurbished in-ground pool surrounded by dark Eramosa limestone. Design elements include the use of three species of wood, warm metals, various marbles, bespoke lighting fixtures and Canadian art as a focal point within each space. The main walnut waterfall staircase features a custom hand forged metal railing with tuning fork spindles. The end result is a nod to the elegance of French Country, mixed with the modern day requirements of a family of four and two dogs!
