Preliminary architecture renderings were given to Obelisk Home with a challenge. The homeowners needed us to create an unusual but family friendly home, but also a home-based business functioning environment. Working with the architect, modifications were made to incorporate the desired functions for the family. Starting with the exterior, including landscape design, stone, brick and window selections a one-of-a-kind home was created. Every detail of the interior was created with the homeowner and the Obelisk Home design team. Furnishings, art, accessories, and lighting were provided through Obelisk Home. We were challenged to incorporate existing furniture. So the team repurposed, re-finished and worked these items into the new plan. Custom paint colors and upholstery were purposely blended to add cohesion. This bathroom was part of an addition to a home on Chicago's North Shore. The seemless addition was created by Award Winning Normandy Designer Vince Weber. The dark stained vanity adds contrast to the master bathroom against the powder blue painted walls. The soft bathroom lighting enhances the spa like space even further.

This teen boy's bathroom is both masculine and modern. Wood-look tile creates an interesting pattern in the shower, while matte black hardware and dark wood cabinets carry out the masculine theme. A floating vanity makes the room appear slightly larger. Limestone tile floors and a durable quartz countertop provide ease in maintenance. A map of Denver hanging over the towel bar adds a bit of local history and character.

A large bespoke dark timber vanity unit sits over terracotta coloured cement floor tiles. Soft lighting and limewash painted walls create a calm, natural finished bathroom.

This photo: An oyster-stone porcelain-tile floor from Facings of America grounds the master bathroom, which features a custom floating vanity showcasing a Duravit sink minimally adorned with Graff fixtures and flanked by Tech Lighting's Manette Grande pendants. Overhead, clerestory windows ensure privacy while allowing in natural light. Positioned near the base of iconic Camelback Mountain, “Outside In” is a modernist home celebrating the love of outdoor living Arizonans crave. The design inspiration was honoring early territorial architecture while applying modernist design principles. Dressed with undulating negra cantera stone, the massing elements of “Outside In” bring an artistic stature to the project’s design hierarchy. This home boasts a first (never seen before feature) — a re-entrant pocketing door which unveils virtually the entire home’s living space to the exterior pool and view terrace. A timeless chocolate and white palette makes this home both elegant and refined. Oriented south, the spectacular interior natural light illuminates what promises to become another timeless piece of architecture for the Paradise Valley landscape.
