This adorable beach cottage is in the heart of the village of La Jolla in San Diego. The goals were to brighten up the space and be the perfect beach get-away for the client whose permanent residence is in Arizona. Some of the ways we achieved the goals was to place an extra high custom board and batten in the great room and by refinishing the kitchen cabinets (which were in excellent shape) white. We created interest through extreme proportions and contrast. Though there are a lot of white elements, they are all offset by a smaller portion of very dark elements. We also played with texture and pattern through wallpaper, natural reclaimed wood elements and rugs. This was all kept in balance by using a simplified color palate minimal layering. I am so grateful for this client as they were extremely trusting and open to ideas. The scalloped vanity front, ribbed subway tiles and bold pattern floor tiles, provide texture, warmth and fun into the space. Black ceilings were used with the large skylight, this was to bring the height of the space down and provide a cozy atmosphere.

What was once a small bedroom in this quaint Cape Cod style home is now an en suite master bath adjoined with a newly created master bedroom. The challenge: create a space inspired by her love of Bohemian Chic coupled with his desire for more simple sophistication. This natural, matte hickory vanity by Bertch and hex flooring bring in her flair, while adding marble-looking quartz tops and champagne bronze fixtures infuse his vision. We had to fit as much utility, function and style as we could into this small space, and I think it is safe to say - mission accomplished!

We helped take this master ensuite bathroom from the 70's and into the present. Thankfully we had lots of room to work with. These clients like the layout of their current space but wanted it to match the rest of their home. With a craftsman style and pops of color, we were able to help them achieve their dream.

The dark hexagon tile flooring provides some texture and contrast to the bathroom, especially when illuminated by the toe-kick lighting at the vanity. This beautiful riverside home was a joy to design! Our Aspen studio borrowed colors and tones from the beauty of the nature outside to recreate a peaceful sanctuary inside. We added cozy, comfortable furnishings so our clients can curl up with a drink while watching the river gushing by. The gorgeous home boasts large entryways with stone-clad walls, high ceilings, and a stunning bar counter, perfect for get-togethers with family and friends. This Columbia, Missouri home’s master bathroom was a full gut remodel. Dimensions In Wood’s expert team handled everything including plumbing, electrical, tile work, cabinets, and more! Electric, Heated Tile Floor Starting at the bottom, this beautiful bathroom sports electrical radiant, in-floor heating beneath the wood styled non-slip tile. With the style of a hardwood and none of the drawbacks, this tile will always be warm, look beautiful, and be completely waterproof. The tile was also carried up onto the walls of the walk in shower. Full Tile Low Profile Shower with all the comforts A low profile Cloud Onyx shower base is very low maintenance and incredibly durable compared to plastic inserts. Running the full length of the wall is an Onyx shelf shower niche for shampoo bottles, soap and more. Inside a new shower system was installed including a shower head, hand sprayer, water controls, an in-shower safety grab bar for accessibility and a fold-down wooden bench seat. Во время разработки проекта встал вопрос о том, какой материал можно использовать кроме плитки, после чего дизайнером было предложено разбавить серый интерьер натуральным теплым деревом, которое с легкостью переносит влажность. Конечно же, это дерево - тик. В результате, пол и стена напротив входа были выполнены в этом материале. В соответствии с концепцией гостиной, мы сочетали его с серым материалом: плиткой под камень; а зону ванной выделили иной плиткой затейливой формы.

This contemporary bathroom design in Jackson, MI combines unique features to create a one-of-a-kind style. The dark, rich finish Medallion Gold vanity cabinet with furniture style feet is accented by Top Knobs hardware. The cabinetry is topped by a Cambria luxury white quartz countertop with dramatic black and gold accents. The homeowner added towels and accessories to bring out these color accents, creating a striking atmosphere for this bathroom. Details are key in creating a unique bathroom design, like the TEC glitter grout that accents the gray CTI porcelain floor tile. The large alcove shower is a highlight of this space, with a frameless glass hinged door and built-in shower bench.
