I wholeheartedly recommend Dee with Lotus Interior Design Studios for any of your design needs (big or small)! I found Dee on Houzz and she was quick to respond and wonderful to work with! She helped me to design a small office space during a time of transition (we were moving states and I was restarting a business). Dee took all of the stress out of my project by listening and understanding the scope of my project and offering cost effective options for my low budget design. I have since referred her to friends for larger projects, and we look forward to using her again for a larger home remodel/design project in our upcoming future. I can't sing her praises enough, thank you for everything!

I had the pleasure of working with Dee on design features of our home renovation in Fullerton. We completely renovated our kitchen and bathroom, and installed new flooring and painted the entire house. Dee played a KEY role in helping us pick out nearly all of the materials for the kitchen and bathroom (tile, flooring, cabinetry design and material choices, hardware, colors, etc.!), as well as the interior paints. Her taste is immaculate, and she was such a great listener, providing us excellent starting points with her mood boards, but then really responding to our feedback about what we loved and didn't love. My husband and I both work full-time so our level of engagement was patchy, but Dee was really amazing about being there when we had time and checking in with us if we stalled out. Honestly, I do not believe we could have finished this project on our own and I am 100% certain it would not have looked as amazing if not for Dee. Dee also helped me pick out furniture for some rooms and suggested everything from rugs to planters. She's got a great idea and she is so easy to work with! I'll be posting pictures soon -- we are slow to get all moved in because of our busy schedules!

From the initial consultation, to design concept to finishing the whole house to home renovation couldn't have gone better. From the lighting, to the color schemes to the tile, carpet, everything turned out perfect. I am a realtor in Orange County and had the opportunity to meet Dee at one of my open houses. After researching her work, having numerous conversations about her vision, style and work ethic, I felt very strongly about her design skills and expertise. In February of 2020, I referred Dee to my client for their upcoming complete renovation of an 1,800 sqft condominium. The scope of work encompassed the entire 2 story space, including 3 bedrooms/3 bathrooms/Kitchen expansion/Dining & Living Rooms, 2 fire places, and 2 garages, etc. The work to be completed was extensive and required gutting the entire space, moving walls and changing some structural aspects to improve the flow and maximize function. In her process, she asked all the right questions and really listened to my client to find out what his “style” was, his favorite color palates, taste in design styles and what his vision of the home would be. The contractors commented that she was always well prepared and provided them with a binder of step-by-step instructions, exact square footage of materials and every detail laid out exactly. She was there every step of the way and was present on the job site to ensure everything was being built and installed to specifications and stayed through until completion. The finished project was amazing and beautiful. The client was extremely happy and loves the home and everything that was designed. I would highly recommend Dee again to all my clients and for any type of interior.

Dee has been a great help right from the start of my kitchen refresh. Project is to refresh large kitchen with an island including painting cabinets, updating lighting, new quartize counters, sink and fixtures. Open concept room required us to also paint our bar cabinets, shelves, and built in entertainment center. Dee has assisted me with paint colors, quartize, and back splash choices. While making suggestions she makes sure that the final choice is that of the client. Can’t wait to see it all come together during the next couple of weeks.

As Dee recently left my house, dispensing more sound advice, for about the 99th time, I figured it was time to write a review. PATIENCE should be her middle name. There is no one who dreaded a house remodel more than I did. And now we are on the other side, thrilled with the outcome, and most importantly, having gained lifelong friends in Dee and our contractor, David Lee. Yes, Dee was there for us, from concept to completion, with the utmost professionalism, knowledge and work quality. I was introduced to Lotus Interior Design Studios and Dee through my contractor. Honestly, I have gone through a couple of renovations and wasn't sure that I really needed to engage an interior designer, but I was stuck on my bathroom tile design, so I figured a little help might be good. This was one of the best decisions I made!!! I was completely sold after our first meeting. Dee is one of the best listeners I have ever met. She really took the time to understand my style and taste. As a result, we were on the same page from day one!! She took the time to introduce me to her best suppliers and went out of her way to schedule meetings that worked for my schedule. She even picked up samples and delivered them to my house!!!
