I think it depends on the size of the bathroom. People still love to soak in the bath and others like to shower, so, I always advise my clients to have both if they can
It's always better to have options of bath or shower if the room allows size wise. The best for me would be to have a free standing bath and a wet room like the one in the attached photo.
