I am a WCAA Designer/Decorator member, and credit my membership in this organization as one which has made me much better as a professional. In our local chapter, we learn from each other, share information, successes, challenges; we bring in vendors for product presentations to stay up to date on changes within the world of window treatments; and we sponsor educational seminars, and charitable projects. The National WCAA helps bring about industry discounts for members, keeps us up to date on window covering safety, and other breaking industry news. They also sponsor a virtual chapter for those who do not live near an existing chapter. I highly recommend any designer who designs custom window treatments join WCAA. The discounts help pay for your membership, and the education is invaluable. Lastly, there are friendships and professional relationships forged.
