TRG Architecture + Interior Design

We work with hundreds of designers, but few stand out as being as ultra organized and communicative as TRG Architects. It was a pleasure, and I sure hope we can partner again on another Central Oregon project. Thank you!

We hired Randy Grange (Architect) and Leslie Lamarre (Interior Design) to help us visualize, design and execute on a complete teardown and rebuild. Randy and team were patient, extremely detail oriented and thoughtful - listening to our wishes/wants, working collaboratively with us and truly transformed our lot, maximizing its potential and delivering beyond what we could have imagined. TRG's team handled all aspects of the project including helping us find the right GC, supervising and reviewing all the work, dealing with the town/planning commission/permits etc. Leslie and her team also played a critical part with the interiors and crafted something unique while keeping our overall tastes and preferences in mind. It was a 2+ year journey and TRG partnered with us every step of the way and we couldn't be happier with their work. .

We hired Randy Grange (Architect) and Leslie Lamarre (Interior Design) to create/build a new craftsman style home for us in Burlingame. I honestly cannot imagine a better experience and we could not be happier with our new custom-built home. Both the architecture team and interior design team were so easy to work with. They really listened to what we wanted and designed a house that could not more perfectly fit our style. Having no experience in building a home whatsoever, we were extremely nervous and overwhelmed at the beginning of this process – hiring TRG was the best decision we ever made as they walked us through every step of this very complicated process and made us feel at ease and very comfortable throughout. We needed / wanted a lot of guidance and suggestions from TRG and they definitely provided us with exactly that while at the same time really getting to know us and creating a home that fit our style and personalities. There was no detail overlooked and their coordination with vendors/contractors was flawless. Looking back, I cannot believe we actually built this amazing home with very little stress along the way…I 100% attribute this to working with TRG and Randy and Leslie’s amazing team of people who made it all seem so easy. We are so grateful.

TRG and staff are extremely talented and professional. We used them for our architectural plans as well as interior design, and couldn’t be happier. My husband and I loved working with Randy (Lead Architect) and Leslie (Lead Interior Designer) on our home remodel. They are both so good at what they do that they make it look effortless (although I know there is a lot of hard work involved)! They were able to translate my vague feelings like "cheerful and spacious" into concrete designs that we loved. What I enjoyed most about working with them is that they never took feedback personally. If a space didn't work for us, they went back to the drawing board and came up with more amazing ideas. This was important because we felt so comfortable working with them that our house became truly a collaborative effort. The end result is a home that is beautiful, sophisticated, meets our family's needs, and feels like "us." I highly recommend them!

TRG was the perfect choice for our extensive Hillsborough renovation. We worked with Randy Grange and Carlos Rojas on the architectural side and Leslie Lamarre and Toune Saengsoury on interior design. Randy Grange designed the home we built in Maine 30 years ago. It was described by our experienced, locally renowned contractor as "handsome" and was invited to be in a house & garden tour by our community. We raised our son there, entertained friends and family, and enjoyed it as a place of peace and refuge as we started a busy and demanding business. We sold the house five years ago for about $750k (much more than we paid to have it built) — and then the new owners sold it again recently for nearly $1M. So the design has stood the test of time — always a reaffirming tribute in the world of architecture. We learned that the house one occupies can make a big difference in one's life. Our home was filled with light, space, elegance, and practicality, a wondrous combination. Randy's artistry played an important, formative part in our lives during those years and we continue to be grateful for his talent.

I was very excited to speak with TRG after the great reviews and pictures on Houzz. We are planning a project locally and thought they would be a great fit. Unfortunately the experience was terrible. The person taking calls for new projects kept making me feel like he was doing me a favor by taking my call. I understand that many architects are really busy, which is totally fine, but no need for the attitude. He promised to call back after the principals considered if this is a project they want, and no call yet. Not cool.

TRG did a wonderful job on our kitchen/family room remodel. We also used them in 2011 to remodel our upstairs living space. We live in a 100+ year old home, and Randy was able to modernize our interiors while retaining the character of the home. The remodeled spaces are seamless and integrated with the rest of the house. Leslie worked with us on the kitchen, and helped us come up with a design that maximized our space while being elegant and family-friendly. We could not be happier with the result and would highly recommend TRG.

We are a custom home builder and remodeling company based on the Peninsula and have been in business for over 30 years. We have worked with TRG for the last 10 plus years on many different projects of all sizes that TRG was involved with. As a builder it is very helpful to work with a company that does both the architectural plans and the interior design all under one umbrella. I feel they have a great sense of design and that they actually listen to the clients wishes and do their absolute best to bring their vision to fruition. All of our mutual clients have been very happy with the final result. They are also amendable to changes when it is in the clients best interest. I have worked with with Leslie Lamarre on several projects within her capacity as principal designer for TRG. I have interfaced with her and her clientele in providing the fine art work that completed their designs. In all instances I found her and her team thoroughly professional, responsive to my suggestions and an honest broker of different solutions I have suggested to fulfill her clients needs. and their response. At the end of each project I felt that all parties felt that they received a successful solution that suited the design parameters, the clients taste, and the allowed budget.
