I had an excellent experience with Tague of Doylestown "virtually" designing my kitchen remodel and ordering my cabinets through them. Ana was very responsive to my requests and despite the limitations of doing everything over email and the phone the design worked out perfectly. Although I did receive some damaged cabinets from the supplier she did a wonderful job getting compensation and replacement cabinets. The customer service was A+ in every aspect of my kitchen remodel and the cabinets were priced fairly and competitively. Definitely recommend working with Tague and particularly Ana. Very professional experience.

I spent 2 hours walking my house with Russell and going through my selections, of which he couldn't remember. Then he asked me to come to a specific showroom to show me a specific finish and when I got there, he didn't have it. He also told me in order to get a specific look from a knob, that I needed to upgrade to a bigger backplate, which turned out to be false and even though I paid more, I didn't get the product I was looking for. Lastly, he went through hinge colors and was supposed to notify his door people about my hinge color changes and he forgot and blamed me and then tried to charge me to change them. His managers did not correct any of this. I don't trust them and wouldn't work with them ever again. They drilled holes in my doors wrong for certain knobs and had to supply new doors and can't stand by their word.

Dan Goldsmith

Tague was engaged by our general contractor to provide a specialty sliding door product. They are an official dealer for the product and represented that they could handle the order. We made the order over the summer in the July timeframe. We paid a requested $13k installment ass requested for the order and expected to pay another $9k once the item was delivered. The expected delivery time was 10 - 12 weeks. It is now mid-December and the product has not been delivered. We have been communicating with Tague over the past 10 weeks. They have assured us that the order was in process and even over the past two weeks told us multiple times that the door would be arriving the next day. After many false promises, I called the manufacturer to find out what was going on. I was shocked to find that Tague had never even placed the order. I am now in a situation where we are into the winter with a 16ft wide hole in the building and no near term way to get the door I expected months ago. Tague has not even apologized or taken accountability for this issue. After taking my $13k check, they did nothing. Tague is a horrible company with no ethics and is not customer focused. There is no way I would work with Tague again. I would caution any customer or contractor working with Tague that they cannot be trusted and you will have to proactively manage them because they are not customer oriented.

While Tague did submit two quotes to your contractor for your project (the first quote was a budget number based only on an approximate size and the second quote was based on the actual specs) we never received approval from anyone to order the custom red door you mentioned. The manufacturer reached out to Tague in response to your query on 12/16/16 regarding order status and, in turn, we reached out to your contractor. As of today, we still have not been given the approval to place the order, nor have we received the rather substantial deposit check you mentioned. I sincerely apologize for the confusion. As I said before, we pride ourself on customer service and I would be saddened to think we dropped the ball on your order. If you have any other concerns over this matter please reach out to TJ Vanleer, our VP of Sales. Please call our 800-66-TAGUE number and ask for TJ by name. He will be happy to discuss this situation with you personally. After speaking to TJ, I hope your faith is restored in Tague Lumber once again.
