These guys installed our air-conditioning improperly. It doesn't work, and they aren't returning our phone calls. They came to look at a few times, and didn't do anything about it. They promised they would fix it, and we wouldn't have to worry, but It seems their phone lines are no longer connected. We spent $10k on a system with them, and they've ghosted us. Stay away!!! The owner's name was Steve. In addition, they installed setups that were not what they had spec-ed for us. Not cool. This may all be moot, as we think they may have just closed up shop.

BC Coastal Energy installed 4 Daikin air conditioning wall units and 1 outside compressor unit in our home recently. Steve was so personable and gave us a fair and reasonable quote. If you are lucky enough to have Tim come out to lead the installation you are in good hands. He was friendly, professional and very knowledgeable. He took the time to plan the job out in the best possible way with fantastic results. Josh who assisted was also great and hard working. The job was done on time and on budget. Best.Decision.Ever.

This company installed in our existing home 4 wall air conditioning units plus two outside compressor units. We were completely satisfied with the project and would compliment the installtion crew who had open access to our home over the week it took to complete the installation. We were very much at ease with them coming and going throughout the day, they were courteous and thoughtfull in causing us as little disruption as possible. The equipment is of the highest quality. There was one small correction needed after the job was finished which was taken care of quickly and efficiently . The project was finished within the stated time and within the quoted cost. I can provide an unqualified recommendation for both the equipment and company.

I have known Steve Blissett since 2012 when he provided the best proposal for the replacement of our ageing furnace with a new York furnace and heat pump. Even though Steve was in sales he added extra value by overseeing the installation to ensure that it was installed as quoted and to my satisfaction. I have had the pleasure to periodically deal with Steve since then and found him to be knowledgeable and responsive to my needs with the same pleasant, good-natured personality that was obvious during our initial dealings. It is my observation that Steve is customer focused and with their best interests paramount.

Earlier this year, BC Coastal Energy installed a new high-efficiency ductless AC in our apartment in North Vancouver. At first, it seemed like “mission impossible” because of Strata Bylaws and concerns with noise coming from the outdoor unit. We sought advice and quotes from a few other well-known installers, but their offer was the best on all aspects. It came with clear explanations regarding the whole process, best price, and correct calculations - fully validated during the summer months. They went the extra miles and provided us with valid advice on how to properly prepare our letter of approval to Strata Council. We have been super happy with the professionalism and the kind of personal attention that we have received from BC Coastal, especially from Steve Blissett. I hired this company to inspect my hot air furnace and provide the maintenance they determined was necessary. The technician came on time, was courteous, did a proper inspection, serviced the furnace, and spent the time necessary to explain to me what his inspection had shown.
