I’ve had the pleasure of working with Sarah Steinberg on two very different projects—a city condo in Portland and a lakefront camp in Belgrade—and she brought the same outstanding qualities to both. Sarah is a true professional: creative, practical, responsive, and incredibly easy to work with. Her designs are both beautiful, timeless and functional, perfectly tailored to each space and my lifestyle. She collaborated seamlessly with our builder, Wright-Ryan, ensuring the process was smooth and efficient from start to finish. Sarah is not only talented and accessible, but also brings a fun, positive energy that makes the entire design experience enjoyable. I highly recommend Sarah to anyone looking for thoughtful, well-executed design work and a partner who truly listens and delivers.

We worked with Sarah on a recent renovation project at our condo in Kennebunk. When we purchased our condo we knew it needed a major upgrade and a second bathroom added in a fairly small space. Sarah took the task and not only delivered, but far exceeded all our expectations. The second bathroom was added and the rest of the living space felt much larger, open and highly functional. Sarah’s execution was incredible, she worked closely with our general contractor throughout the entire project, and then worked with the design and decor team, offering valuable input and advice. Sarah is a true professional and we are so happy we chose to work with her! We absolutely love our newly designed space!

Sarah Steiberg has been a lifesaver! We have a great deal of experience with architects, designers, and contractors as we have upgraded several homes in New England and California during the past few years. We have worked with Sarah on projects at our primary New England home in Lincoln, MA. She designed our shared office, our newly redone Master Bath, and our downstairs apartment. We could not have been happier with the results and with very competitive pricing. Sarah has a nice personal style which allows her to extract important client perspectives. She then works very effectively with various contractors and other trades people. She has also previously worked with us on a beachfront condominium, redesigning the entire upper floor area including a bathroom, office, bedroom and walk in closet. Clean design which totally upgraded the area to our specifications, including design concepts that we had not considered. Most recently, we asked Sarah to help us as we have been considering the purchase of a waterfront home in Maine. We know we can rely on her sense of design, good taste, and subtle candor!

We had a wonderful experience with Sarah. My wife and I are not particularly "design" minded, but we had to do a complete gut of an old kitchen in our newly purchased home. Sarah advised us from start to finish: selecting styles, colors, layout, finishes, hardware, everything. She made numerous trips over long distances to consult for the initial design, meet with our contractor, and assist with cabinet delivery. I love working with Sarah. She knows how to translate a client's ideas into reality. She took the time to really walk through the plans so that I knew exactly what I was getting, and she is very responsive to emails and texts. We retained Sarah to help renovate a dated condo with a bad kitchen layout. She created a gorgeous design that completely transformed the place and beautifully elevated its aesthetic appeal. She was especially masterful at maximizing storage space. We also appreciated her ideas on finishes, from floors to tile to lighting and plumbing fixtures. She worked seamlessly with our contractor and was very responsive to our needs. A very successful project!
