My new porcelain shower is a masterpiece professionally completed by Steve White. He removed all of the old shower unit and installed new drywall, faucets, drain, shower pan system, frameless glass door, framed in a new wall to create a neo-angle entry and tiled it all from top to bottom. It is just gorgeous. He made it more spacious than it was originally and now I have room for my personal shower bench. Steve is, punctual, personable and knowledgeable. I was unsure about a couple of things and he provided me with options so that I could make choices that I was happy with on completion. His estimate included a schedule that he followed day by day so I always knew what to expect. He cleaned up every day so that I could use the rest of the bathroom. That made me very happy. I cannot say enough as to how pleased my husband and I are with the end product. I'm just sorry I can't give him 10 STARS!

SRW came by way of a referral and we are extremely pleased with Steve's work. We had several quotes and he was very detailed with his quote, which included time frame, pictures, and explanations of his work. There were no surprises and work was completed on time. Steve is very conscientious and gets a lot accomplished in a day's work. He's also very neat, which is a big plus! He did all of the work so it was nice not having to deal with any subcontractors. Our designer had him do something that was a bit of a challenge, and he put in the time to get it just right. Steve is very easy to work with, and is excellent with communication. Would highly recommend SRW!!

Steve was by far the best contractor we've worked with since moving from out of state to Pittsburgh. He arrived on time, was straightforward with pricing, and had competitive pricing. He remained courteous and friendly even when the tile we picked ended up being a hassle to work with. Our new master bath and closet look great and I am very satisfied with the results.

SWR successfully completed the total remodel of two full bathrooms in my 1961 Scholz home. First, the master bath was completely remodeled to include an expanded, tiled walk-in shower with bench, new cabinetry, quartz counter tops, and all new fixtures. Heated tile flooring and contemporary wall tiles completed the remodel. In the guest bath, a new tub/shower, along with all new fixtures, tiling and lighting were installed. The highlight of the project was the workmanship of SRW. Steve did what he said he would do - high quality work, done on schedule, and with attention to detail. His tile work was amazing! He listened to my vision, and offered practical suggestions. I would drive SRW my highest recommendation.

SRW Contracting recently did our master bath renovation. We found Steve to be professional , trustworthy , provided quality work and met all our expectations. Steve worked closely with us during the planning of the project , provided a detailed breakdown of all costs which made it easy to budget the project. Steve provided a schedule for the start and projected completion of the project and stuck to the schedule. At the end of each day the area was left clean and orderly to include vacuuming of the stairs and hallway . I would highly recommend SRW .... Probably the best contractor I have worked with .

Steve updated my old bathroom. He replaced the tub with a walk in shower, replaced the floor and wall with tile and the wash bowl and cabinet. The cabinet top is marble tile and the cabinet is wood. Very nice work.

We had contacted a handful of contractors to remodel our master bathroom, Jack and Jill bathroom, and powder room in our 15 year old house. Steve returned our call promptly, set up a meeting timely, and presented a detailed, itemized quote with pictures and broken down pricing within a week. Steve is highly professional, reasonable, and honest as well as patient in explaining the cost and time behind each step, which is why it made our decision easy to hire him. Steve talked us through what steps we needed to take like picking out tile ect prior to that start date so he could start demo on time as planned. Steve stuck to that timeline he laid out in the contract, was very respectful of our house by laying out plastic and drop cloths each day and cleaning up each day, showing up on time and working hard each day, and at the end producing three gorgeous bathrooms from ceiling to tile to floor AND trim:) Steve even came back to install our powder room mirror a month later since it was on back order and when it wasn't placed how we liked he came back to adjust one more time which made our day. We would highly recommend Steve without any hesitation as he is not only professional, experienced, reasonable and honest but you can also tell he enjoys his work and has vision. In our case he recommended we knock out a wall in our master to make a knee wall and bring in more light. The results STUNNING :) Thank you Steve!

We hired Steve to remodel our master bathroom and the results are stunning. The project involved demolition of the existing bathroom and closet area. He helped us reconfigure the layout and design a more modern room. Steve was on time every day, cleaned up the work area at the end of the day, and kept us posted on his progress. If there was a change to the work order he would tells us and explain the details. There were no huge surprises and if Steve encountered a challenge he did his best to work with it. Steve's professionalism is second to none, as is his courtesy and upbeat disposition. Steve did everything himself on this huge renovation. He -demolished the bathroom -configured the new plumbing -setup the electrical - tiled the custom floors and walls -installed the drywall, new window, and pocket door -added the vanities, baseboard molding, and accessories If you're looking to update your bathroom, want to work with a great craftsman, and need extra guidance you should contact Steve. We recommend him to all our friends and family.

This bathroom was my first remodeling project and my experience with Steve could not have been better. Steve completely demolished the existing bathroom which had a very small, pre-fabricated shower. Steve enlarged the shower by breaking through the back wall and incorporating a portion of a bedroom closet into the shower space. He then tiled the entire shower and added built-in shelves, a foot rest for shaving and a hand-held shower. The floor in this bathroom was cold in winter because it is located over an unheated garage. To remedy this issue, Steve installed a heated floor. Every aspect of Steve's work is outstanding. I would not change one thing. Steve works on one job at a time and he arrives promptly every morning. In sum, Steve is truly a professional.

Steve remodeled 3 bathrooms in our 110 year old house. The first was a complete gut in which Steve found significant structural and plumbing issues. These issues greatly increased the scale and complexity of the project but Steve quickly developed a revised work plan and budget and completed the work with minimal delay. We are very pleased with the result. The second bathroom also presented unexpected plumbing problems but again Steve devised solutions and completed the work in a timely fashion. The third bathroom required less substantive modifications but was completed on time and to a very high standard. Two of these rooms required complex tile work with handmade, irregular products. Steve did a fantastic job on the tile. In addition, our projects proved his competency as a carpenter, plumber and electrician. He is a pleasure to work with, an excellent communicator and a patient collaborator.

We hired SRW to renovate two bathrooms in a house built in 1929. Cost estimate was very competitive. Plan for work was exactly what we requested. We selected and purchased materials separately (though Steve was wiling to pick up any materials). Steve started work on schedule. He followed his promised schedule exactly and finished more quickly than we expected. He worked full days on all weekdays from start of project to finish. During the project, mess was contained. Steve cleaned up each day, with little disruption to rest of house. Renovation included complete demolition (to the studs) of both rooms, replumbing, rewiring, drywall, tile and painting. All fixtures were installed. Steve communicated with us prior to, during and after the project. He was always accessible. He completed all the work himself (no help), and was always pleasant and happy about his work. Workmanship is craftsman quality. Steve appears to enjoy the fine work on tile/marble, and is quite creative with this part of the project. He suggested materials and sources when we asked for help. Replumbing of old house was challenging (given plaster, firebreaks, multiple floors, etc.) but was completed with excellence. Steve is a perfectionist about final result. We greatly appreciate his effort and skill. We would hire him again if we had more projects.
