My wife and I started our home building journey about a year ago as we began engaging with a few design builders in the area. We quickly realized that the design builder path was not right for us and began looking for a reputable architect in Tampa. We’re so happy we did as we discovered Don Sharp and his team at Sharp Design Studio. Working with the team at SDS has been such a wonderful experience. They have helped us tremendously throughout the process beginning with a series of discovery sessions to better understand what we’re looking for, to working with the City of Tampa on the design exception process, and sticking with us throughout the build process to work with the necessary contractors. We couldn’t be more happy with the SDS team and would happily recommend them as a great partner for those looking.

Don Sharp & team have been absolutely amazing since day one! My husband and I have dreamed of building a detached garage with a mother-in-law apartment above. We knew the addition would need to match our current home, and meet all county restrictions, and frankly, weren’t really sure it could be done! Within a shorter time period than anticipated, the team successfully transformed our ideas into a beautiful design and within all restrictions! Don’s experience shined through as he was able to take our ideas and make them better than we could have imagined! He is one of the most creative and innovative individuals I/we have ever met, yet remains wildly humble and is so pleasant to work!! Also, I am acting as my own general contractor – Don & team have gone above and beyond with helping me learn/understand the entire process, are always very responsive, and have proven to be eager to help! After going over our big picture goals and specific requirements for a new lineup of plans, Sharp delivered very quickly with the quickest turnaround times I've ever experienced! In addition, the team at Sharp is meticulous on details, creativity, innovation, and focused on listening to their customers, allowing them to create homes with that "Wow" factor. Lastly, Sharp is great at communicating with you every step of the way, from initial concept plans, through CD's, all the way to construction of the home. Everyone that we have contact with, including the owner, Don Sharp, is hands-on, very responsive and extremely accommodating. We started out with ideas for a single story home and eventually developed our custom floorplan into a two-story, unique and gorgeous home with custom touches throughout. Sharp Design Studio stands out above ALL the rest. Unbelievable designs with such incredible attention to detail. Every design can be customized and tailored as desired and it's as if they are building it for themselves. I am having a house designed by Sharp Design Studio as I write this. They designed my previous home and it was amazing, but now we need to down size into a 2500 sq ft home (our other home was 4100 sq ft). I have seen all of their designs in Innisbrook alone and I was blown away. If you don't use this company, you are wasting your money and time and will be disappointed. You get what you pay for.
