I recently purchased a bed from them and the sale rep acted as if they order from four hands all the time. He never mentioned that the bed come already partially assembled. It was to tall and couldn't be delivered. The manager was surprised that it came that way. He proceeded to offer me something 2k more then what I paid and a restocking fee. Seriously, why didn't the sale report do his due diligence with the details and the customer is left holding the bag.

I highly recommend shopping and decorating with Safavieh; they have great prices, selection and Customer Service. Diane in GC helped us to make all of the right decisions for our makeover. She is very patient, professional and made our re-model project a great success. We would absolutely use Diane and Safavieh again!

Over promise and not only under deliver but ignore, argue, dismiss customer concerns. $2000 desk arrives “white glove” damaged. No one returns my calls or emails. I receive a message from a furniture repair company….. Seriously? The top of the desk is broken off. Today is at least the 6th time to call and to not have the common courtesy to call back. The problem won’t go away by ignoring me it just makes things worse. Secondarily, 4 chairs at $10k ordered months ago and the shipping company had yet to revive them. Absurd to say the least. I wouldn’t recommend buying anything from a company as mismanaged as this one.

I purchased 4 dining chairs and the material is disintegrating! When I spoke to manager in the Livingston nj store, he had a rehearsed answer for me! Poor quality furniture , for high prices! Don’t purchase from this company!!!! If you have a problem, you will be brushed off!!! This company does not stand by their product!

Poor materials and a lack of quality control. I purchased a set of outdoor patio furniture from a whole house furnishing company, Furnishr, in November of 2021. Some of the pieces were manufactured by Safavieh, and those items are no longer functionable after limited use. The furniture was purchased for our 2nd home, a "Snowbird" home in Florida. We use the home about 6 months a year, but the furniture is no longer functionable. Despite storing the furniture during the 6 months we are not in Florida, the glue that held the wicker failed first, and then the material that was used to create the "wicker" type design has become so brittle it breaks upon touch. Buyer beware.

I purchased a Bernhardt bed from Safavieh. The bed took longer than originally expected and arrived damaged. The delivery team could not set it up and took it back on their truck. It's been 4 weeks and a replacement has not arrived. The customer service has been a nightmare and Safavieh consistently deflects blame to the manufacturer in their delayed email responses. I am hopeful to receive a bed soon but would NEVER buy another product from Safavieh.

We worked with Amir at the Paramus, NJ store and love our new furniture and area rugs. Amir took alot of time with us to ensure that everything worked together and that our rooms reflected the comfort, warmth, quality and style that we wanted. My mother has also worked with Amir and the Paramus NJ and her living room came out beautifully and her new dining room chandelier is absolutely exquisite. For quality, outstanding customer service and design expertise we would highly recommend Amir and the Paramus, NJ store!

I have bought two 9x12 rugs ( Moroccan tassel) last year and your prices have more than doubled. The prices now are ridiculous. I was sure interested in buying two more but not at those prices!

I recently purchased the Talmadge bookcase and was extremely disappointed with both the quality of the item and the customer service I received when following up. The bookcase does not meet the level of craftsmanship I expected and does not align with designer-quality standards. Additionally, the return policy was not clearly communicated, and for an item at this price point, the terms are unreasonable. When I reached out for a resolution, I was met with inflexibility and was told I would only receive a 50% refund and a 50% store credit—far from what I anticipated for a high-ticket purchase. I expect better quality and service, and I hope the company will reconsider its approach to both product standards and customer satisfaction.

I had an extremely disappointing experience with this company and cannot recommend them. My package, a $200 set of lamps, was stolen from my doorstep. Despite providing a police report, pictures of my property, and even a copy of my homeowner’s declaration page (as requested), I was denied a refund or replacement. Filing a claim through my insurance wasn’t an option either, as the deductible is $2,000—far exceeding the value of the item. When I spoke with Nick, I was told he needed approval from the owner, only to later be informed that no resolution would be offered. In the end, I was left with nothing but the message, “It’s your loss.” This level of customer service is unacceptable, and I would caution others against shopping with this company.

As a natural disaster victim, I would like to just have my house back in order but I ordered 2 sconces 1 was broken. They send two more and both of those appear used and are broken in the same areas. Good luck trying to reach out to them, they will ignore you until you repeatedly reach out. My local hardware store probably has higher quality than this as it seems very cheap. Would NOT recommend.

We have made several purchases at Safavieh. Each time, Patricia Culver, assisted us with our selections and purchases. Patricia has gone out of her way to help us by doing research, making suggestions and helping us find exactly what we wanted. She is kind, professional, knowledgeable and patient. She always seems to go the extra mile to meet her customer's needs. We wish we could encounter more people like Patricia when shop!
