Steve Dailey has been in the home building industry since 1979, beginning as a brick contractor then obtained his general contractors license in 1986. He has since built a reputation in his hometown of Salt Lake City, for building only the finest quality custom homes. Being a hands on builder, nine out of ten times you will find Steve on the job site working with subcontractors or answering homeowners questions. Uniquely, we do all of our own finish work in each one of our homes. This and our superior customer service are what our reputation is built upon. Honesty, integrity, attention to detail, and adherence to promised timelines are always among our top priorities. We take pride in knowing we have built the home of our buyers' dreams. Quality not Quantity is our standard. Steve Dailey is the President on the Board of Directors for the State of Utah Homebuilders Association in 2020. All homes built by Steven Dailey Construction are custom builds from start to finish. The projects you see in these pages are a direct result of our client's dreams, wishes, designs, and personality. Although we are very proud of our work the credit goes to our clients and their designers. We are more than happy to answer any questions you may have but our clients privacy is our number one priority. We recently completed a custom home built by Steve Dailey Construction. Most impressive to us was their exceptional attention to detail with superior craftsmanship and pride in their work. They are experienced, knowledgeable and have an excellent working relationship with subcontractors which has been critical during the pandemic. Stephanie Dailey has a valuable knowledge of design and was able to direct us toward better choices in several areas. We found them to be accessible and transparent. They build a beautiful home! Building our dream home with Steven Dailey Construction was a dream! Both Steve and Stephanie were attentive to detail and kept us informed during the process. They returned calls and texts quickly. Stephanie was helpful in meeting with me and vendors to make selections. All the vendors indicated that they loved working with them and I think we got better service due to their long term relationships. We love the circle beam that Steve built for our 16 foot tall great room! It is a real statement piece. We would build with them again and highly recommend them to anyone wanting a custom home built with quality and minimal frustration during the building process!

I met Steve Dailey in 2012. I had a set of plans to build my house and Steve was going to be my builder however, I changed my mind but I had such a trust in him that when I decided to build in 2019 I contacted him. Building a house is a test on your marriage. I have heard horror stories about contractors and builders. I hardly ever called Steve while he was building my house. He always contacted me when I needed to know something and I depended on his expertise. He delivered my house 2 months earlier than what was planned. I’m grateful to Steve and Stephanie to make it such an easy task to my wife and I. We are very happy with our new home and I would highly recommend them to everyone.

The project started on the scheduled date and was completed on time as promised. The quality is excellent and we get many compliments from neighbors and people walking by. Steven Dailey Construction is without a doubt the most knowledgable, highest quality, and flexible builder/contractor we have had the pleasure to work with. If the goal of your project is to have it done "right", then you should absolutely count on Steven Dailey and his team. We had a complex situation in moving in from out of state and not able to always be at the house while it was being renovated. Stephanie and the team was always willing to jump on FaceTime or send photos to ensure we were consulted along the way on key decisions and changes. As is usually the case on a large renovation, we changed the scope along the way and they were more than accommodating to working through the changes and in several cases, adjusting the plans for the better without getting into typical scope change drama. Steven ensured that the quality met and even exceeded our expectations which is not something I thought was possible. We would hire them again in an instant and are already discussing phase 2 and more.

Unbelievable craftsmanship! Steve built our house ten years ago and just finished our basement for us this year. He kept everything on schedule throughout the whole project. His crew is super nice and all of his subs really do fantastic work. Steve always makes you feel like your project is the most important one he's working on and his attention to detail is second to none. We couldn't be happier with our basement.

Steve did a full-scale renovation of my main floor and added a bathroom to my basement. I can’t imagine attempting this kind of project without a contractor and there is no one better than Steven Dailey Construction. I was inexperienced and admittedly high maintenance. Steve and his crew were so patient and made sure everything was perfect. Everyone who works with him is equally exceptional. He came in at bid and we trust him completely. We are so happy we chose Steve.
