I had a fantastic experience working with the Rodo Development team and Dolev on my detached ADU. From the first time I contacted him through the entire project he was friendly, extremely communicative, and kept me informed every step of the way. The entire Rodo team was amazing. He handled any unexpected issues quickly and clearly, so we never felt stressed or uncertain during the process. There were never any surprises. He helped expedite permits and was very mindful of my budget, helping me make smart choices without overspending. The quality of the work was a great as I had hoped for from the start and it didn’t take long for me to realize I made the right choice. I worked with Rodo Development to remodel two bathrooms - primary and guest bathroom. I had done several remodeling and design projects, but had moved to a new area and couldn't use a contractor I had worked with in the past. Searching on Houzz and elsewhere, I saw incredible photos and reviews from Rodo Development. I was lucky enough to have them help me transform the two spaces into showstoppers. Dolev and his entire team are kind, friendly, but also professional and true craftspeople who know what they are doing. In the primary bath I had to relocate a tub, and consolidate two awkwardly placed vanities into one double vanity. Dolev suggested we could shrink an awkward soffit and I worked with his vendor who delivered a beautiful custom oak paneled vanity. In the guest bath, I wanted to use some unique rounded-corner subway tiles I found through Wow Design from Spain. It was not easy to work with, but the results were incredible and I think the guest bath steals the show. So from space planning, design to construction and then finishing and clean up, Dolev and his project managers kept the project moving along expeditiously. I couldn't be happier and would say I was lucky to work with such a fantastic organization.

We worked with RODO Development on the renovation of our new condo, and the experience was truly exceptional from start to finish. This was our first time doing a major renovation, so we needed a lot of guidance—and as very detail-oriented clients, we had high expectations. I had a very specific vision, and she immediately understood the look and feel I was going for from my Pinterest board. Her kitchen design was not only stunning but became the anchor for the rest of the project. We also really appreciated RODO’s willingness to collaborate with our cabinet maker and accommodate our ideas throughout. The entire process felt collaborative, thoughtful, and smooth. We’re thrilled with the results, and if we take on another renovation project in the future, we’d absolutely love to work with RODO again.

We recently finished a comprehensive interior remodel including kitchen, two bathrooms, flooring, and interior stairs. As a trained interior designer, I expected a high level of detail and finish, and RODO delivered. I engaged RODO after meeting with about 5 contractors total on a master bathroom and closet renovation project. They gave me a good level of comfort and came in at a reasonable cost. They worked with a professional designer to review the materials I had chosen and come up with a PDF design book. Once the work started, they were in nearly every day and Sean was immediately responsive to questions and comments. He also provided referrals to custom cabinet makers for my closet wardrobes. I am very happy with the result and in fact already referred him to a neighbor on a bathroom project.

I engaged RODO Development to execute a major rehab of a 40-year-old home in an affluent neighborhood in Pasadena. The scope was broad and extensive (electrical, plumbing, drywall, retiling, retrofitting electrical capacity, installing lighting, stucco repair, interior and exterior painting, and more), extending over a seven-month period. When the timeline is long and the cost large, identifying a capable, trustworthy general contractor is critical. I have NEVER been more pleased with a firm’s execution. I have been in the commercial real estate business for over 35 years, but every time I need something done for my own home, I have the same questions, the same angst anyone else would. Will they price the job fairly? Are they carrying appropriate insurance? Will they show-up, produce quality work, and clean up afterward? Will they stand behind their craftsmanship? Will they deal with me fairly when, inevitably, change orders are required? Dolev and his team delivered on all counts. I have never written a public review for anything or anyone. I don’t usually share my opinion on the internet, but this is the least I could do to support an individual and a firm that delivers at such an exceptional level.
