Creating distinctive luxury residences is Phil Kean’s specialty and we were fortunate enough to collaborate with Phil on the 2017 New American Home wine cellar. His always impressive designs, and attention to detail make Phil one of the finest builder's in Florida. His in-house design staff are creative and constantly strive to raise the bar on new ideas.

The Phil Kean Design Group designed and constructed my traditional cottage style home. They listened carefully to my wants and needs and succeeded masterfully in producing a home that I'm very happy living in. I observed throughout construction that the subcontractors valued the opportunity to work with the PKD Group. Their work reflected the high standards required by PKD and the results are that I have a home built with great attention to detail. I have had several custom homes built in my life, but the experience with the PKD Group was the best by far. Hard to think of enough accolades for this entire company. Highly recommended!

My wife and I are building our dream home in Accra, Ghana in West Africa. We had 2 previous designs that were un-inspiring to say the least. Then we came across the Nemo, one of Phil's signature designs, on the internet. We contacted him to give us something similar. Well, after 9 months of conference calls and design reviews with a Ghanaian architect assisting with local inputs, Phil and his team came up with a stunning design that completely and utterly blew us away - functional, modern and timelessly elegant. Interior finishing is about to commence and the anticipation of moving into a Nemo-esque in Accra reaches feverish proportions when ever I visit the building site. He is a good guy!!!!

Guided our hand from beginning to end. We gave Phil a theme of what we wanted to house to be and he ran with it and gave us a design that completely exceeded our expectations. Once Rob Turner came along, the interior design and furniture process was smooth. He gave us options and made it easy to select exactly what we wanted. The construction phase was definitely not as stressful as I worried it was going to be. Chris, the project manager, was there to answer all questions and take care of all concerns. What I thought was going to be an overwhelming task ended up being an enjoyable experience. We are really happy and proud of our new home. Alberto & Sharie

From the start of our project as our architect and builder, Phil Kean met with us to make sure what was important to us in designing and building our new Platinum LEED certified home. At each step it was a pleasure to work with him and his wonderful team. He was aware of our interest in downsizing and yet not compromise on quality. In the end, our new home exceeded our expectations and we kept to our budget. Winning 2012 home of the year is evidence of his commitment to quality and his creativity! P.S. We hired Phil Kean Designs to build our dream home. They listened closely to our wishes and developed a plan that fulfilled our dreams and then took them to the next level. It was a creative, practical design that works 110% for our family. The Project team was courteous, patient and focused on solving problems without issue. It felt like a seamless experience. Our home has been well praised winning local, regional and national awards including home of the year in 2011. We had such a great experience and love our home so much, that we have hired them again to build our second home. Wonderful company.

My husband and I are building a home, this is the fourth home we have built in our 30 year marriage. We selected the Phil Kean Design group because we liked the homes we had seen but more importantly other homeowners had great things to say about PKD. We are a third of the way done and the team at Phil Kean Designs are terrific. Phil is very talented, I just loving hearing his ideas each time we walk the house. Building is stressful, I have had four very interesting experiences with the last 4 homes, but PKD is truly different.
