We worked with Ben and Victoria on a long-overdue kitchen remodel. I was confident, from my first conversation with them, that we were in good hands. Oro Coast was AMAZING to work with. I'll explain: We had a whole home renovation. Coming into the reno, we had ideas about what we wanted, but we really didn't know what we actually needed. We didn't know what would give us the most bang for our buck and make our lives easier and better without breaking the bank. We hired Oro Coast builders to add a bathroom to our house. We are very happy with work that they did. Main thing about Ben is that he is always there to answer your questions or address any concerns. He always returns his calls and cares about the customer. He had the right people to get the permits and later on for the construction as well. He made sure all the inspections are done correctly and timeline was met as discussed. The quality of work is also good and we are very happy with the new addition to our house. I will not hesitate to recommend Ben and Oro Coast Builders for any projects.

I have used Oro Coast Builders for my house addition in Los Altos. I had them add a master bedroom suite with a full bathroom and walk-in closet. They handled everything from getting drawings, permits, passing inspections, and taking care of any issues that came up. Ben, the project manager, was very easy to communicate with and was readily available. My addition came out beautifully and I was very pleased with their work. Let me start off by saying that we are first time home owners and purchased a house that hadn’t really been touched since it was built, other than some DIY from previous owners. We knew that the home needed some improvements but after closing on the house “as is” and discovering it needed a new roof, plumbing and a myriad of other work, we decided it was in our best interest to look into an almost complete renovation (in the hopes of not having to redo work twice further down the road.) I’ll be honest. We were scared. Buying our first home in a pandemic was stressful enough and the thought diving head first into an almost complete renovation was incredibly daunting. We had heard nothing but horror stories from family and friends about general contractors. In fact, my immediate family had just wrestled with some seedy contractors who had left them in debt and the house in shambles. And so, we were extremely nervous about selecting an honest and reliable company. We had interviewed at least eleven different companies and ultimately decided on Oro Coast Builders, which was hands down, the best decision we could have made. Sahar exuded a quiet confidence and professionalism that made us feel like we weren't just being pitched to and pushed to spend, spend, spend, but instead, delivered an honest and upfront appraisal of the scope of work to make this a dream home for us, whilst being mindful of our budget. Every step of the way, he held our hand and eased our anxiety. Anything that bubbled up (as things do when unearthing the secrets of a 56 year old house), he calmly explained to us issues, offered multiple ideas and assured us that he would “find a solution”. And he always did. He did the leg work in finding ways to cut costs through his own sources and connections, offered straightforward advice on which projects or details where it would be advisable to spend and when to pull back and was in constant communication with us. There were no miscommunications, surprises or sudden costs. Transparency is key and with Sahar, we always felt abreast of everything happening in our home. Furthermore, we found that all of his subcontractors that worked with him were on point, friendly and professional. Anyone he brought into our home made it better. All in all, Oro Coast touched almost every facet of our house and we could not be more thrilled with the results. The work is absolutely beautiful. We simply cannot believe we are lucky enough to live here and are so grateful that Sahar made it possible. Additionally, Sevan, who handles all the office management is exceptionally warm and friendly and goes above and beyond to assist in anyway possible. The entire team made our family feel appreciated and taken care of and the kindness they extended even to our small children left us touched. Finding Oro Coast Builders has been tantamount to finding the honest car mechanic or perfect pediatrician for your kids. Once you find them, you hold on to them tightly because being able to trust someone with something this important is immeasurable. And we trust them implicitly. Thank you to the entire team! When you contract with Oro Coast you are in great hands. They provide a high quality work. I worked with Sahar and felt the trust I would with a family member. He is always timely, follows through on what he says, listens and and goes above and beyond expectations. His sub contractors also are timely and professional. Oro Coast completed a kitchen remodel and bath update for me. I also had them do some smaller side projects as well. Every thing they did was completed in a way that exceeded what I imagined! You can stop the headache of looking for contractors once you find Oro Coast. They can work with you on indoor, outdoor, small and large projects! They are now my contractors for life!

We used Oro Coast to add 200 square feet to the front of our house. The lay out of our house is not the easiest, but Sahar and his team did a great job. The city and its permit process is also a lot more difficult due to the pandemic, but Sahar and his team were on top of it. My family is glad we hired Oro Coast for our project. We screened at least 10 contractors and feel fortunate we found Oro Coast.

Management worked to understand our needs and provide a professional proposal. We had two new air conditioning systems installed and significant venting work throughout the house. We dealt with the same managers throughout the project. Their bid for the work was not the low bid or the high bid. They used quality materials and air conditioning equipment and had excellent staff completing the work. They started the work on the day they said they would, and completed the work the day they said they would---to our complete satisfaction. They completed the project including meeting with the city inspectors. When the inspectors had issues with our home outside of the scope of the project Oro Coast completed the work to the inspectors satisfaction at a fair price to us. If we have projects in the future Oro Coast Builders will be the first company we would call.

Sahar and his team did a great job with the upgrade of our driveway, entry way and trash area to PAVERS! We've been waiting to do this project for 11 years, so we were very pleased with how quickly the work was done and anything that came up was handled quickly. Sahar is very attentive, communicates frequently and keeps his word. It is helpful to have an idea with pictures and design of what you want before you meet with him to make the process as smooth as possible. Our neighbors have commented on how great our new driveway and entryway look (and are a little jealous!)...

I hired Oro Coast Builders to do some remodeling work in both our bathrooms (create a master bathroom and extend our other bathroom). In all honesty, I couldn't be happier with my decision. As construction started in the middle of the pandemic and lockdown, I was worried my project would be significantly impacted. To my surprise, my bathrooms were completed in a very reasonable timeframe. The Oro Coast Builders team rolled with the punches and adjusted scheduling as necessary to keep my remodel on track. I'm so appreciative of our project coordinator for is responsiveness and attention to detail, despite all the uncertainty at the time. Any issues that arose, he handled promptly and professionally. After years of contemplating renovating my kitchen and patio, I finally decided to pull the trigger with Oro Coast Builders. While I had a lot of initial anxiety, my project manager and his team really put my worries at ease. My kitchen renovation was quite extensive (removing two walls, adding an island, moving plumbing, opening a staircase, framing new windows, etc.), but the team at Oro Coast Builders completed a gorgeous and expansive open concept kitchen and dining area for me and my family. In addition, we decided to add a screened in porch and a pergola in the backyard. Everything turned out even better than I had initially imagined! I hired Oro Coast to remodel our yard. We wanted to add a pool and awning before summer. We’re so happy with the way it looks. Their design team helped us choose beautiful and affordable finishes and we really leveraged the space we had to fit so much more then we thought. Very happy!

I have been wanting to add an accent wall in our living room for months and finally got around to researching and finding a company I was comfortable with. We chose a smooth cement plaster on the wall where our tv and fireplace are. It added so much life to the room! Took 2 days. Their team was so professional and left the house so clean. I was referred to Sahar through a good friend of mine who was really happy with her remodel. She told me he'd been working independently for a long time and recently started his own company. I met with a lot of people when trying to decide who to hire for our renovation. I ended up going with ORO coast builders for several reasons: the first impression was great....he was punctual and professional and I felt he really understood the vision we had for the house and yard. He also had some great ideas of his own. His quote was reasonable in comparison to the rest. He was honest from the beginning about things that would cost more but also helped explain ways we could save money by using his contractor's license to buy finished material at a lower price and offered to come choose everything with me if I needed him too. The process was fairly smooth...a few hiccups along the way regarding timeframe but that's to be expected with a renovation of this size. Ultimately we're really happy with the way everything turned out.

I just finished my first project with Oro. We converted my garage to an ADU. We were hesitant to do it at first because construction can often be such an expensive headache, but I'm so happy we did. The process of the remodel was so easy and now we're renting the ADU for $2000 a month which completely covers our mortgage. ORO Coast was so easy to work with and their team had so many great design ideas. I really recommend them for any remodel project you may have. We're very happy with the outcome.

We recently worked with Oro Coast to completely demo and remodel our yard. We added a smooth stucco retaining wall and built in fireplace and a pool. The design of our yard is so nice, and they were really wonderful and easy to work with. Their entire staff is great. I would highly recommend giving them a call for any home needs.
