Nobbs Radford Architects are a multiple AIA award winning innovative practice. Alison Nobbs and Sean Radford established the studio in 2004 creating an ideas driven practice with a strong belief in the ability of architecture to enrich daily life. The practice is currently undertaking projects ranging from individual houses to more diverse medium density housing and apartment developments as well as a growing involvement in public and commercial architecture. Our architecture draws on ideas of place, light and beauty. Architecture exists in all realms of design from overall concept to the finest of details. The practice thrives on ideas that challenge preconceptions to allow a better way of bringing together the people who inhabit our designs into their place, site and neighbourhood. The practice has a commitment to take on projects of differing scales and programs. For us the pleasure of architecture is derived from providing a solution that is expressive of the context, the desires of the client and our skills. The practice has a continuing responsibility and enthusiasm towards sustainable principles.
