For over 22 years, Sheri Stouffer has served homeowners and interior designers creating unique and beautiful window coverings. In addition to soft treatments, Finishing Touches also carries a wide range of hard treatments from Hunter Douglas to Horizon Shades. As a specialized drapery workroom, every detail from fabrication of the treatment to the final installation is handled by Finishing Touches. Sheri was been delightful, from start to finish!! Her level of professionalism, kindness, patience, knowledge and talent led us through a pretty complicated set of projects with ease and fun! During the fabric selection process, she was so attentive, creative, and gave thoughtful advise. When she came back to our home with selections, she nailed it every time! Communication was easy, and we were well informed of timelines! Wow, we are 100% thrilled with every piece that she created for us!! I had the pleasure of working with Sheri on several projects throughout our new home and she was professional, creative, efficient and super communicative. Sheri helped design, create and install window treatments, tailored drapery, as well as custom cushions for benches and banquet seating. She is amazing at her craft, has an organized process from intake of what is of interest, presenting ideas, taking extensive measurement, pictures, from creating the product, install and providing before and after photos. Sheri is absolutely amazing. I am a CT based designer and was looking for a workroom in the Denver area. I am so lucky to have found Sheri and Finishing Touches. Not only is she incredibly knowledgeable, but also easy to communicate with. She kept me in the loop and was so helpful in addressing and resolving any issues that arose along the way. Her work product is top notch (she tackled everything from drapery, romans, woven shades, pillow covers and bench cushions). She also was great with the client (who mentioned numerous times how helpful Sheri was in addition to raving about the finished product). I cannot recommend her enough!

It didn't come without some challenges- ceiling mounts, bent 90 degree drapery rods, double layers, etc. In the end all the extra preparation and double checking paid off and the installs went in smoothly and the job looked amazing! Sheri was so helpful in choosing the right shades for our new home (motorized roller shades over our big sliding glass doors, and top down/bottom up cellular shades everywhere else). It is an absolute pleasure to work with Sheri! She worked closely with me on choices of fabrics, styles, sizes, hardware choices, and all of the details that go into our beautiful custom window treatments. Sheri came to my home completely prepared with 'lots' of fabric samples and multiple styles and colors of window shades. Once Sheri had a feel for my likes and dislikes, style of my home, obstacles to overcome (and there were many), she immediately ordered lots fabric samples to choose from. Samples came quickly through the mail directly to me. Once choices were made for Hunter Douglas shades for 3 bedrooms and baths, they were ordered and installed within 8 weeks. Final decisions on drapery fabrics and hardware were made for living room, dining room, master bedroom & bath were ordered, fabricated and installed within 8 weeks (before Christmas as I had requested). Sheri's fabrication methods are very detail oriented. She has a passion for her work, is meticulous, and has a determination for the perfect outcome. We have many more windows to address with treatments. Sheri is the only designer and fabricator that I want to work with.

Finishing Touches is phenomenal! The curtains Sheri made for our family room were so well crafted we hired her to come back and make cafe curtains for our kitchen. They are on trend and meticulously crafted. One other side note: her installation crew is just as meticulous as Sheri is.
