Moloney Architects

In 2015 my wife and i purchased a Victorian red brick house which was built in 1888 in Mill Street, Lake Wendouree,Victoria.The house had a stunning modern extension with high ceilings to match the 3.8 metre ceiling heights in the old Victorian, which has created a seamless and sympathetic entry from the old to the new.The extension was completed in 2012 and designed by Mick Moloney of Moloney Architects in Ballarat. The house was featured following the completed extension in Grand Designs Australia Issue 4.5.

Fantastic! After having some thorough conversations with Mick and viewing previous work we established Moloney Architects were the firm for us. We have now been working with them for two years to create our dream home. They has been extremely generous with their time, flexible, enthusiastic and supporting through the different stages of the project. The expertise offered at all times keeps us confidant that we will be achieving the best result for us. They were great at designing a solution aimed at our budget, but still giving us the point of difference we were after. They really took all of our criteria into consideration. Can not speak highly enough of this practice. We have developed what we feel is a lasting friendship and are already talking about what our next project will be, we have enjoyed ourselves that much!
