Mockler Taylor Architects has been my go to Architectural Firm for the past 15 years. Why? First, I did my homework. I exhaustively interviewed, in person, many Architectural firms (big and small), designers, builders and single practitioner Architects from Westchester County and Lower Fairfield County and ended up picking Lisa and Sean because of their quiet confidence and professional demeanor. Their standard portfolio strengths are: Solid book of business in scope, size and quality of projects, discerning decisions in scale and taste, a surrounding mix of trusted and respected builders, and associated trades people underscoring the feeling we are lucky to be working with these people. Sean and Lisa pay special attention to detail and understand when and how to apply the right pressures to achieve any shared goal. The objectives of any project are usually: deliver on time and on (or near) budget with as little aggravation as possible - This is the team that can get it done. They make the process enjoyable in real-time, less stressful thru out and fondly memorable years later. Having an understanding of things like: Neighbors, Town Politics, P&Z issues and other underlying elements that come up during a design and build process are things in their wheelhouse – Often folks representing you in this field will need to possess the right temperament and slight of hand to properly navigate complicated and perhaps sensitive issues at any given time with a myriad of difficult people. Sean and Lisa have always delivered in spades. I have challenged them with several projects over the years and have noted them below - 4 in total awarded Mockler Taylor commissions (1 Residential & 3 Commercial). Each different, unique and all successful in their own right. I would without hesitation recommend working with this firm and consistently do so any day someone asks “Do you know any good firms or could you recommend any good Architects”? Mockler Taylor is at the VERY TOP of this list.
