Jinx McDonald Interior Designs

I live out of town and wanted to remodel my condo in Naples, Florida. I was nervous about the process and how I would work with a designer and contractor from another state. I met with Barbara and knew right away that we could work together, she was very organized and gave me plenty of notice when we needed to meet and what needed to be accomplished during our meeting. Barbara let us pick out what we liked and pulled it together. She and the contractors worked well together and handled all the details. They finished the project on time with very little help from me. Barbara and Anne finished up with art, decorations, and lamps. The condo turned out beautiful and better than I had imagined.

I have been working with Barbara (Sensitive Information Hidden) from Jinx McDonald Interiors for the past 12-18 months to remodel and furnish my FL home. She is a talented designer and great listener. We loved working with her. She helped redesign and furnish our kitchen, family room, guest bathroom, guest room, master bedroom and master bathroom. Love how each space turned out. Barbara found and coordinated all the subs that were needed as well as the GC that was hired for the remodel work. I highly recommend her and Jinx McDonald Designs.

As soon as we met Beth Walker-Fenton and Janine Blume at their JMID office, we knew we had met our “Dream Team”! We needed professionals that would efficiently oversee our renovation project on Marco Island because we were out of state and working with a very limited amount of time to complete our project. Beth and Janine were amazing! They were very knowledgeable, organized, creative and always accessible. What we appreciated most was that when they needed to let us know an issue had arisen (which was inevitable), they always had a suitable solution! The results of our completed project far exceeded our wildest expectations! I pinch myself every time I enter our condo because I can’t believe how lucky I am to live in this beautiful space…and it is all thanks to Beth and Janine!

I can't say enough good things about the team of Janine Blume and Beth Walker-Fenton! Their taste is impeccable, service is excellent, and they stay on top of things. We completely renovated our condo. Janine and Beth came up with great ideas, beautiful details, worked with my tastes and helped me select not only beautiful but comfortable furniture! We are so pleased with the outcome!

I can't say enough about Jinx McDonald Interior Designs. From start to completion of my project they were simply a FANTASTIC design firm to work with!! I had a phone consult with Minka McDonald and after discussing the look and feel I wanted for our Naples Florida home she assigned me to work with Janine Blume who was just amazing to work with, my project was also done from a distance. We did most of everything via emails and face time. The process was literally seamless. Janine Blume was incredibly organized kept my project rolling and completed it on schedule. Minka and Beth have excellent taste, great design ability, high energy and are a pleasure to work with. They provided great service in our limited timeframe and we were very pleased with the businesses that they contracted with.

We worked with Minka McDonald and Beth Walker-Fenton on our winter home in The Colony in Bonita Springs. We were new to the SW Florida area and were working from afar, so we were fairly nervous about the process. No need, Minka and Beth were a complete delight to work with. They listened to our ideas and then made them better than we could have imagined. They are professional and creative and we are thrilled with the results. I would hire them again without hesitation.

From the very first time my husband and I stepped foot into the Jinx McDonald showroom, we had a good feeling about working with them. The initial team of women made us feel as though we were the most important clients they had at the time. My husband likes to be involved with all the decisions when it comes down to designing, building & furnishings of our new home. The Jinx McDonald team took this all in stride& made both of us feel "part of the process." They have "tuned in" ears to hear what we wanted. They have an incredible eye that captured exactly the curb appeal (inside & out) we were looking for. They have a color sense like no one else we've worked with. From lighting to carpeting to artwork to unique furnishings, they spelled out a time frame, a budget & went to work. Their showroom is filled with something for everyone. Even the contemporary style like us who think out of the box. When there were dates & cost to be met or when problems arose, the Jinx McDonald team was professional & truly a breath of fresh air. By the end of the project, they were our new found Naples friends. We would use them again in a heartbeat. You are sure to be pleased when working with Jinx McDonald as your interior designers....an absolutely wonderful group of women!!!
