These are your guys if you want to end up with marble cracked in half and still installed, sills that tilt the wrong way, broken windows and doors that don’t close. They say anything and everything until you pay them and then it’s a completely different story. And they used our house as a construction site to build entire rooms of built-ins for other customers.

I highly recommend Michael and his team at MRC. We did a home renovation this Fall 2019. Quality of workmanship, customer service, design ideas, and professionalism was top-notch across the board. Also competitive pricing compared to other high end builders/renovators. The team at MRC (and the sub-contractors they work with) are problem solvers and find solutions and the work is then constructed with precision care and quality. They are high-end service providers with a creative and innovative ideas.

We hired Michael Robert Construction for a complete home renovation and we could not be happier with the results! Mike and our project manager, Steve, were extremely professional, collaborative, and very mindful of what we were looking for. Our house was built in the 1930's and we wanted to make the house more functional but still keep the character intact. They added great details that we never would have thought of, and all of the sub-contractors performed high quality work. I communicated with Steve on a daily basis for nine months and he was very responsive, a practical problem solver, and overall an incredibly nice guy! We absolutely love our new home!

We are beyond thrilled with our new master bedroom extension by Michael Robert Construction. Michael and his team took our vision and made it into a stunning reality. Not only did we receive excellent craftsmanship, but also a team who was responsive, knowledgeable and experts in their fields. Michael has a keen eye for detail and that showed with every walk-thru and conversation we had with him. As a bonus, his wife Ellie (an interior designer), picked out a phenomenal wallpaper for the bedroom which we get complimented on by those who see it. We couldn't be happier with our decision to use Michael Robert Construction - an exceptional experience from start to finish!

We hired Mike and his team to do a major renovation on our house, including the entire first floor, master bath, and basement. They were absolutely professional from beginning to end. We lived in the house during construction and they did everything they could to make the situation easy on us. The job site was always kept clean. The final product was outstanding, and the workmanship was excellent. I would highly recommend Michael Robert to anyone who was looking for a high-end contractor.

We retained MRC last year for a nearly full renovation of our new historic home in Short Hills that had been built in 1880, no easy feat! MRC was able to complete the job in a thorough, creative and high-quality manner, Mike is a stellar manager and a skilled contractor, as well as a great collaborator. Our project manager, Steve Kammerer, was incredibly attentive to detail throughout every step, as well as highly adept at problem-solving, and just generally great to work with for an extended period of time. I would recommend MRC and their staff very highly and would be happy to speak to anyone who is considering hiring them.

Our interior design firm worked closely with our client to manage a high end design build project in Westfield. After going out to bid Michael Roberts won our project. His team of professionals took over the build portion with the project with confidence and determined forward action. They included us on any design issues even if it meant waiting for our response or having us take the lead on some elements. The end result is that our client is thrilled with her home because her team worked together from inception to completion. As proof of their confidence, we have all just been hired to complete a basement renovation for this same client. We look forward to continued work together.
