Meredith Heron Design

We recently completed a design project with Meredith. We purchased a new house and Meredith was able to help us transform it from a very bland space to an absolutely beautiful home. Meredith helped us re-design some of the spaces and furnished the entire house. We completely re-did the master bath, built a bar in the kitchen, changed the kitchen backsplash and put in new built-ins and a new fireplace in the family room. Her team did an amazing job of doing this under a timeline set by our builder and working within our budget. We did 90% of the project remotely and she was able to execute it flawlessly. Her team does an excellent job of following up with vendors. They are all very professional and patient. Meredith exceeded our expectations. Our house looks amazing! I’ve had many people view our house and ask for her information. I will continue to work with Meredith on all future projects.

I worked with Meredith on a new and almost completely unfurnished house that also needed a lot of design work (bathroom and kitchen studs in redesign). I loved how she took my initial preferences and ideas and pushed them to the next level to create a truly spectacular home. She was great to work with and I will definitely work with her again.

Meredith, I have watched you grow your company from the very beginning back in our school days together, and it's always nice to see your accomplishments. Meredith Heron Design recently completed a major reno + design project in our home. This consisted of both maintenance (e.g. updating rads, stair rebuild, building an entrance closet, etc.) and design including colour scheme, hardwood floors, a complete redo of a 2nd floor room and all new furnishings and fixtures. We were exceptionally pleased with both the process and results. There were several expert teams used who did quality work, all of whom were pleasant and professional to deal with. The design elements exceeded expectations and clearly show a high level of design expertise and taste. We are particularly pleased with several of the elements: - the united look and feel of space achieved through similarly coloured new light fixtures, refurbish of an existing set and a kitchen faucet and a more cohesive and improved paint palette - beautiful furniture and an impressive array of accessories, including pictures and art - innovative design elements we would never have thought of and were initially apprehensive about – blue grass cloth in dining room, blue lacquered shelving in a 2nd floor den/library/TV room Meredith, Asa and their direct design team were really a joy to work with. Great ideas that evolved to something quite spectacular. Somehow, they seemed to get our design sense and comfort level in a way that went what beyond what we thought was possible. Each new addition created great excitement. The craft and detail that went into their design is incredibly impressive. It’s now a much nicer space to live and entertain in. We were so thrilled with the results that we’re now using Meredith Heron Design for some final rooms in the house.

Meredith's design flare is truly incredible, I have seen first hand her projects brought to life from a sketch to reality, and the results are always incredible. We hired Meredith to remodel our living room/dining room. It was a challenging space because we have a thin house and needed a wall removed. We also wanted extensive built ins in the dining room as well as a built in desk in the living room. Meredith really understood the look I wanted, probably even better than I did. Everything turned out beautiful. I still can't believe that I get to live here! There are still some finishing touches left and I can't wait until we are all done. I'm already planning to renovate the bedrooms upstairs.

Meredith worked with Geoffrey to source a sofa and occassional chairs, as well as select paint colours, for his new home. He and his wife were very pleased with Meredith's suggestions and the final products.
