Elegant & Aspirational Interior Design for Your Home
M&Y Interiors was established in 1990. Specialising in whole house design, M&Y recognise every property needs its own individual style, and as designers, M&Y tailor make their schemes to match the needs of their clients. Style and budget are the two main considerations and M&Y feel that the finished look should project the ‘wow’ factor required to fit the profile of the property. M&Y work in all areas of London, having completed projects in Bushey, Radlett, Mill Hill, Totteridge, Hampstead, St Johns Wood, Cuffley, Chalfont, Amersham among others as well as parts of Central London and the City. In addition to their regular clients, M&Y have worked with some high profile individuals including those from the world of sports and entertainment. The first meeting takes place at the client’s home where M&Y discuss initial thoughts and ideas as to how they can transform the property. This is a free consultation. The second meeting then takes place at M&Y offices where fees etc are discussed and this is also a free consultation. Thereafter the client will decide whether to proceed. The designers at M&Y are also able to offer their expertise advising on tiling, flooring, wardrobes, kitchens and bathrooms as well as meeting with contractors such as flooring specialists, custom made furniture designers etc to assist with the design process. Once designs have been finalised and approved design boards are prepared and presented to client, including computer generated visuals created when needed or requested. Once every detail has been finalised the project can commence.

We were delighted to receive a significant charitable contribution from M&Y interiors who interiorly designed the Children's isolation cubicles at Watford General, consulting with patients and nurses. We are moving forward with redecoration incorporating an exciting new look and feel and activities that will engage children of all ages who will be isolated in the cubicles for days and sometimes weeks. This is typically children with cancer and weakened immune systems. Thank you again to M&Y interiors for making a huge different to children in hospital and their environment.

Originally we were in two minds as to move or renovate our house. We were recommended to M&Y Interiors who we invited to look at our house to give us ideas and their thoughts on how to turn it into a modern house utilising and creating as much space and light as well as creating storage along with a modern design. The house needed to be totally renovated with walls downstairs taken down and a completely new shape. After looking at other examples of their work and at first with trepidation we agreed to work with Mandy and Nigel and their team and moved out indeed for nearly a year whilst their appointed builders and craftsmen set about their work. Mandy regularly presented us with amazing ideas for the interior design whilst Nigel always thinking out of the box found extra space and room which we never thought we had, Attention to detail from both of them and Sam and their team were amazing. We now have a beautiful house and although there was some pain during the journey have no regrets on our decision and love our house..

Delighted with our newly transformed home by M&Y! Our second time with Mandy and her excellent team, which says it all. M&Y provide a superb service , from start to finish, and beyond. We have loved working with them - detailed design process, always adjusting for our tastes, careful budgeting, adhering to time schedules. All delivered with a warm friendly style! Mandy, Jo and Nigel - what a team. A huge job - gutted completely and finished within five months. New floors, plumbing, cupboards, kitchen, bathrooms, electric lights and points, furniture, etc. Doors taken out, walls taken down, the whole place decorated, every space maximised for storage, etc. Nigel, Mandy and Jo were excellent with their suggestions and support. We are enjoying living in our beautiful flat. Many thanks.

Our first foray into the world of interior design couldn’t have gone better with Mandy and her team. From our initial first meeting with Mandy and Nigel at our home, we felt like we had met people who not only could we work with on transforming in our home, but we connected with on a personal level. Sam created wonderful designs for the living room of our new build and Mandy presented them with professionalism and warmth. She gave guidance on choices, which were outside my comfort zone but I trusted in her expertise and couldn’t have been happier with the results. Our living room is now the focal point of our house and visitors comment on how it now looks like a show home. In fact, the work of M and Y is so breathtaking it puts the rest of our house to shame! We hope to use Mandy again for future projects and would highly recommend her and the whole of her team to anybody who is thinking of improving their home but (like us) doesn’t know where to start!

M&Y provided an amazing service to help us remodel our living room. From the very start Mandy and Nigel were considerate of our requirements while making brilliant suggestions and putting forward ideas that we would never have thought of. This is exactly why we hired them and we are really pleased with the outcome. The design experience was really fun and challenged our preconceptions on what materials, furniture and colours go together. Sam did a wonderful job in bringing alot of this together and sourcing some wonderful pieces to really lift the look of our room. Finally, Jack and Mark who built out our media units and carried out the main painting and decorating works were exceptional. The full service provided by M&Y has been outstanding and we will definitely be using them again for the rest of the house.

We highly recommend M&Y Interiors. Mandy, Nigel, Jo and the team were fantastic, always available, incredibly hard-working and fun to work with. We really enjoyed working with Mandy and the team. Our lounge and TV room were completely transformed. The attention to detail and creative flair brought a perfect balance of comfort and style. M&Y Interiors came up with innovative ideas that we hadn't remotely contemplated. We were absolutely thrilled with the outcome of both our lounge and TV room. We are instructing M&Y Interiors on a new project which is testament to the high regard we have for them being such high quality interior designers.

I absolutely loved working with Mandy, Nigel and Samantha at M&Y. We got a 2 bedroom flat in December 2021 and needed to move in ASAP. M&Y were amazing in how hard and quickly they worked to furnish the place given. During the meetings they quickly got to know our tastes. The did any exquisite job of the decor - from wall paper, to beds, wardrobe, sofas, lighting, kids rooms, dressers, curtains and accessories. I literally just handed them the keys and walked into a beautiful apartment that gets complimented on every time some walks in. I would totally recommend M&Y Interiors. They are professionals and absolutely fabulous!

M&Y interiors were so helpful in the planning and redecorating of my new apartment All the workmen were fantastic - they’re workmanship was faultless and they were always punctual and polite. Nothing was too much trouble and I wouldn’t hesitate in using them again. I highly recommend this company.

M & Y we’re great to work with from start to finish. There was a strong attention to detail in every aspect from what I was looking for to the delivery and snagging. The process was as smooth as could be, given the tumultuous times of covid. They went out of their way to adhere to deadlines. Their team of builders and foremen are very efficient and pleasant to work with. I would not hesitate to recommend them and will definitely be using them in the future.

Where to begin….? We were highly recommended to Mandy and Nigel, a husband and wife team, through cousins and that was good enough for me. We told them what we wanted to achieve and they all got to work on what was to be a rather large undertaking and meant moving out for the work to be done. Mandy and her team were very professional and efficient and took the trouble to dot every i and cross every T leaving no ideas unturned Their enthusiasm and passion for their work was infectious and it was a joy working with them. M&Y have handed over our fully refurbished office in Hertford today and I’m still buzzing with excitement because the transformation has been totally amazing . The brief was pretty basic ,I wanted to create the look and feel of the Ralph Lauren store in Bond Street ,but make it work for an office environment , and do it on a sensible budget . Mandy and her team hit the target perfectly and we now have a really fantastic work space , and a very smart meeting room that will impress any visitor , plus the coolest looking office kitchen in the county ! It’s been great fun working with the M&Y team from start to finish , lots of discussions honing the various aspects of design , colours and furniture and it’s all worked out perfectly . I would highly recommend Mandy, Nigel and Team. Their patience and getting to know what we wanted was excellent. Mandy has a great eye for colour and sense of style , Nigel for design and space and overall the team has complementary skill sets. We are delighted with the end product.

I have worked with Mandy and Nigel for over 7 years and could not recommend them more highly. They are the perfect team, Nigel has wonderful vision re planning spaces and logistics, whilst Mandy brings so much input with regards to colour choices, fabrics and styling and together they ensured our house refurbishment was everything we could have dreamed of. This was the first experience working with an interior designer and I was very mindful that we still maintained our own style and preferences. Mandy did not impose her views or choices on us, but listened carefully to what we liked and got to know our style and was extremely respectful of our budget, which is quite unusual in this field. Although our house refurbishment was 7 years ago, I am still in touch with M+Y on a regular basis and value their input and opinion in any of the house improvements we make and recommend them to others who are keen to work with a valued partner in this field.

We used M&Y to refurbish our downstairs, including hall, lounge, study and toilet. Absolutely thrilled with the results - you can place complete faith in Mandy and Nigel to deliver the project. All of their choices were spot on and Nigel managed to stay sane, calm and in control of the various builders, tilers, and carpenters throughout. Would 100% recommend t M&Y and use them again.

Guys, thanks for coming round this morning for the big reveal. So pleased I waited! First impressions are overwhelming and now to take it in slowly. It’s such a change and one which has completely surpassed any expectations and my limited spacial perception. Thanks to you both for your vision and your craftsmanship. Even more reason for us to continue ‘selling’ M&Y - which btw we have done to the new neighbours opposite (we met them recently standing outside though they won’t be moving in for a while) who have their whole house to do!

I got told about M&Y through a friend and I’m so happy with the job they did. Mandy was great and the whole team helped me get to my ideal flat. They listened to what I wanted and also pushed me to take risks I otherwise wouldn’t have taken and the end results are sensational.
