Very disappointing quality and customer service I purchased a Loaf Flatley Linen Rug in Ochre, 200cm x 300cm, expecting a good-quality rug that would last. Unfortunately, the rug has faded significantly and the colour is now very different from when it was purchased. I contacted Loaf to raise my concerns, hoping they would acknowledge that the level of fading was excessive. Instead, their Quality Team have attributed the change to the fact that linen is a natural fibre and that colour can gradually change through exposure to daylight, normal use, foot traffic and cleaning. I completely understand that natural materials can change slightly over time, but this is significant fading, not the subtle natural ageing I would reasonably expect from a rug of this price. What is particularly disappointing is that Loaf have offered no replacement, refund or other resolution. Their final response was essentially that this is an expected characteristic of the product and that, if I remain unhappy, I can refer the matter to the relevant Ombudsman. I bought the rug from Loaf because I believed I was paying for quality. Instead, I am left with a rug that has changed considerably in colour and a company that has ultimately taken no responsibility for it. I would strongly recommend that anyone considering purchasing one of their linen rugs is aware that significant colour fading may be considered by Loaf to be a normal characteristic of the product, rather than a quality issue. Very disappointing, particularly for a company positioned at the higher end of the market.

Extreme sun fading after only 6 months. Loaf want nothing to do with it as they do admit their fabrics can cause sun bleaching. Just be careful if you have any type of sunlight going onto your sofa as the fading is so bad and worse than most fabrics. For such a premium product am extremely surprised by this significant flaw. In my opinion rethink your choice of buying a Loaf sofa.

Absolutely terrible experience. I ordered the very expensive premium sofas in early January 2024 and was told numerous times, max 12 weeks until delivery. Low and behold a week or so before due date I get an email to advise they have been delayed. Ok I thought, sometimes these things happen. It will be another 4-6 weeks. 6 weeks pass by and still no sign and no contact. I ring up to find out they have been delayed by another 6-8 weeks and given a new delivery date blaming "material supply issues". The day before delivery I get a call from the courier, not Loaf, to advise there is yet another delay and they cannot say when they will be delivered and to ring Loaf. So I ring Loaf and they advise they cannot confirm when they will be delivered but we will give you another delivery date (which wont be achieved) and a gesture of goodwill of 5% off. Comical. I would avoid this company at all costs. Waste of time and money for £6,000 sofas and the customer service is non existent. I never write reviews but felt the need to warn people!

Worst purchase ever! Most reviews are submitted after only a short time from purchase so this is different in that we have suffered for our hasty purchase for over a year now. A year ago (late April / early May 2024) we took delivery of our Large Sloafer Sofa at a cost of £2,635 + delivery. It is by far the worst purchase we have ever made. Every morning the back and side cushions need plumping up and the seat cushion needs turning over either from back to front or from end to end. My wife finds it comfortable to lie on but for me, who sits on it, it is most uncomfortable and difficult to get up from a sitting position. Obviously, some of the blame for this bad purchase rests with us for not spending enough time trying it out at the showroom for various reasons. A word of warning therefore. Make sure you spend enough time therefore in the showroom checking it out thoroughly before committing yourself to the purchase.

Sofa ruined by poorly manufactured sofa cushion covers which are split and Loaf have been no help in resolving the issue. We were really happy with our loaf sofa - very comfy and seemed good quality. However, after about 18 months we noticed that of the sofa cushions had split at the seams because there was poor seam allowance and they were overstuffed. We've been in touch with Loaf who provide one line replies to my emails basically "saying not our problem" and suggesting we find a haberdasher! They've directed us to the insurance they encouraged us to take out but that doesn't cover structural defects and this isn't accidental damage. Our £4000 sofas are ruined and Loaf haven't even offered to sell us some new cushion covers to match up.

I am starting to worry about my order . I ordered 3 beds and they were supposed to be delivered last week . Since then, I have no news no phone calls no explanations … Loaf is not able to tell me what is happening with my order. We were stuck at home 2 days waiting for the delivery which was supposed to arrive last week as Loaf told me without giving any time slot . Loaf is unable to provide any information…

The worst customer experience EVER! I would never purchase anything from Loaf again. It’s been 6 months since I’ve ordered two sofas and a bed, I’ve spent over £8,000 and still don’t have the items I have paid for. Delivery of the sofa was wrong… TWICE and they still have not managed to get it right. The delivery left my house damaged and I need of painting and decorating that will also cost us more money. This is a shambles of a company and I advise everyone to stay away from them and not purchase any of their goods.

I ordered a Baggie medium sofa about six months ago. Getting delivery was a nightmare. It took two attempts to get it into my flat. The problem was the delivery men. They refused to carry it up the stairs. Third floor, wide modern staircase. No excuses. When I finally got it into my flat the cushions didn’t fit. One is too big and it looks awful. I have been back to loaf and they are sending me different cushion pads with a different foam to feather ratio making them easier for me to manage. Whatever that means. I bought a sofa from the Battersea Loaf store 2 years ago. Personally I think they look great in the showroom but are impractically for use in a busy household where you don't have a sales assistant to come round pumping up the cushions every time someone sits on them. I have found the seats sink badly and despite my best efforts to regularly pump them up after 2 years I now have lumpy cushions where the feathers have clumped together. Unfortunately I've been told by Loaf that the sofas are only under 1 year warranty (which is surprising but maybe indicative of the problems they face). Very disappointed and wouldn't recommend if you need a practical sofa.

Brilliant products and really great customer service, always sorted out any issue ASAP pronto. Currently writing this review from a Dozer bed, and staring at an Aurelie chest of drawers and 2 Avril bedside tables. Not forgetting the lounge either - there's a Crumpet sofa and a Yarn rug in there, with a Dixie love seat on the way... and think I'll order some of the new blinds to match the bed too... sounding like a bit of a groupie here...!

I purchased two Stretch Scatter cushions from Loaf for my sofa, they came in the Thatch house fabric and were so soft! Highlighy reccommended for quality of the materials and simplicity of design. Their free fabric samples are also delightful.
