Kirk Saunders Architect

As general contractors we have an appreciation for fine architecture. It is always a great pleasure to be selected to build one Kirk's projects. Not only is he a talented architect but he understands construction processes, budgets and schedules.

Kirk Saunders is one of the best Architects in his field. We had seen several of his projects and knew immediately we wanted to work with him. He redesigned our dream beach house stem to stern. His plans were elegant, inspired and beautiful. Kirk gave my wife and I the style we hoped for, he listened and incorporated both of our ideas while keeping the integrity of his beautiful designs. He created additional spaces with loft areas, library ladders, porthole windows and custom built-ins. He has a beautiful design aesthetic, is a pleasure to work with, an amazing and talented architect. You can't find better and can't help wanting to keep him as a friend... as we have.

We hired Kirk to design our Laguna Beach estate home. It was the best decision we made on the whole project! Not only is he incredibly talented and skilled at design but he also has experience in construction which proved to be a huge asset to our contractor and other trades. Building a home is difficult at best; Kirk's even temperament and balanced reasoning brought clarity and good old common sense to issues that might otherwise have been serious roadblocks. Laguna is famous for being a difficult town to build in due to rigorous approval requirements. Not for Kirk! His reputation is stellar and everyone in the city loves working with him so things ran incredibly smoothly and approvals came much quicker than we were told to expect. I am happy to talk more on the subject but bottom line...choose Kirk and you wont be disappointed!

Over many years, I have had the pleasure of working with Kirk on numerous jobs, both residential and commercial. I have found him to be creative and thorough, thinking outside the box when the situation calls for it. You don't get to the end of the job and think "I wish we would have..." Plus.. he's just a decent and honest person and works collaboratively to create a project that truly captures the client's aesthetic and functional goals.
