As a relatively new company, we were looking for a new way to elevate our new office space. We were not exactly sure what we wanted but we did have vague ideas. Enter Kerrie and Kasey. Using their expertise, patience and detail oriented mindset, they used the little bit of information we gave them and they managed to create an amazing image of what our office needed. A key part of their dynamic was communication. Whenever we had questions or concerns, they were very prompt and helpful in their responses, making the entire project a lot easier than expected. After the project was finished, we took a step back and realized everything turned out better than expected. We really appreciate the dedication and efforts that Kerrie and Kasey put in to our office space!

My experience with Kerrie and her team was always professional, creative and timely. Our scope of work was quickly determined and the team met all established deadlines. Even though in person meetings were not possible, Zoom was a great substitute and it was easy to see the details of the project vision. Kerrie and Kasey did a great job with our project! They picked out paint colors for our entire house which turned out great. They also did furniture and room planning for our whole house. We loved their design. I also appreciate they gave us links to all the pieces to purchase. Additionally, they gave us items in different all across the price spectrum which was great.

Kerrie and her staff responded quickly to my request for help - my previous designer had not worked out. In spite of Covid, she came up with a wonderfully creative plan of finishes and will continue with furnishings once my remodel is done. I would highly recommend her without any reservations.

I am thrilled with my recently updated kitchen, thanks to the talents of Kerrie Kelly and her assistant Kasey Kiesz, who provided a detailed design plan that transformed my l990s kitchen into a show-stopper! Kerrie grasped my goal--a blue and white kitchen that complimented the style of our traditional home with fresh ideas and sophistication. I appreciate Kerrie’s balance of practicality and exciting design. Her selection of a Spanish handmade tile in three shades of light grey brings drama, texture and depth to the expanse above the cooktop and backsplash areas. It works well with her recommendation of Silestone counters. The highlight of her plan may surprise you, but it is the first thing everyone admires. It’s the wall-covering, a handcrafted navy grass cloth, by Phillip Jeffries, with brushed brass rivets in an open-square design. So warm, so inviting, so unexpected in a kitchen! The brushed brass color of the rivets is repeated in a striking chandelier, the faucet and square knobs on cabinets and drawers. Kerrie’s plan was presented after her visit to my home, and an interview to ascertain goals. It included recommendations for product purchases, materials, drawings, vendors and a list of recommended contractors, electricians, painters, etc. We have lived in our home for almost 40 years and have done many remodeling projects. This was by far the easiest and most effective project ever—with the most stunning result!

Outstanding! Undertaking a major renovation is challenging and the most important task is to interview and select the right professionals to help you. We interviewed several firms in the Sacramento area and selected KKDL. That decision was one of the best ones we made. Kerrie and Kasey are very talented, professional, responsive and the fee was very reasonable. They were always open to questions--and I asked a lot!--- and worked really well with our general contractor. KKDL helped us pick all of the design finishes for our home and later on with choosing the furnishings. We would highly recommend them to anyone looking for help with their renovation or design project.

Kerrie Kelly and designers Jill and Kasey did an excellent job updating many rooms in my home. They were always professional and comfortable to communicate with. Kerrie and Kasey came by my new house to give some decorating advice. I have a very different style than the previous owners of my house, but I didn't want to just pick paint and put it on, then regret my choice later. Since I just closed escrow, I didn't have a lot of cash for a real interior design project, so they offered to drop by for an hour and advise me on paint and flooring based on samples I had chosen. We made use of the whole hour and it was great! I feel ready to spruce up my new home and put my personal touch on it. Not only did we decide on interior and exterior paint, but they helped me with some fixtures and new knob/pull ideas as well. They were both friendly and informative. I highly recommend working with Kerrie Kelly Design lab.

Kerrie Kelly Design Labs is precisely the right business to take your home to the highest level. For years, the rap on me was that my taste level was underdeveloped and it resulted in nothing being done for fear of making expensive mistakes Kerrie and Jill- (her experienced colleague) came into my home and pretty much asked me to show them around. From then on, they exchanged ideas at rapid fire- and upon reaching consensus would verify that it was directionally correct with desired outcomes. They also measured- and before they left to create the magic “look boards”, we agreed upon a budget for entire project. The look boards meeting began with the following statement from Kerrie: “if you can’t contain a smile when you see something...that’s exactly what should happen. If you don’t react in this manner- it’s not on the table/I will not put in your house”. She was 100% right- some of the choices and completed rooms in pictures were...impossible to not be ecstatic. Knocked it out Of the park. Kerrie and her team do great work. I never once felt uncertain throughout the client cycle from ideas, to designing and selection of perfect pieces that compliment each other and the overall aesthetic...of the house’s style. She managed contractors and the kitchen renovation easily, and even picked out hard scape material (a terra-cotta colored tile laid in a letters of Herring Bone) and stones for a contrasting retaining wall section- it looks unbelievable and finishes off the Mediterranean influence of the house’s style. We came in right on budget, time, and...I would call it the single most successful project done (we have done a ton of renovations in the decade to improve value in most expensive retail geography in USA to keep it current). Custom pieces and the final touch by someone so skilled and I live in a resort, basically. It’s intentionally comfortable, yet has some of the key design elements from KKDL proprietary methodology that also keep the comfort...interesting, contemporary, and original...it’s basically perfect. And I am grateful and appreciative of KERRIE KELLY DESIGN LABS TEAM- and in particular the founder and leader for her patience...and friendship...from day 1. It doesn’t get any better.

Our project was a full update, including bathroom and kitchen, of our 1920's Spanish bungalow. While we did not move any walls around or do any additions, they helped with nearly every surface including counter tops, tile, hardware, hardwood floor stain, window design, courtyard gate and paver walkway and interior and exterior paint colors. Basically, everything you can see in our home. Jill and Erika did a great job. They completely understood the look we were going for and nailed it. They have a great eye for color, textures and layout. The result is absolutely beautiful and everything flows really well together. If I had one wish, it would be that they could secure better discounts on furniture.

Kerrie and her team did a fantastic job choosing new furniture for my living room. I worked with them to order a sectional sofa, ottoman and ceiling fan. They immediately picked up on my style and pushed me to think differently about color and fabric choices. I'm so glad they did because it turned out beautifully. The order took a little longer than anticipated (4 months) but it was worth the wait.
