I was looking to update an apartment that was in dire need of renovation. After contacting a few companies, I came across Ms. Janine Dray's name . I subsequently contacted and discussed with her the scope of the work needed for a one bedroom apartment in the Turtle bay area of Manhattan. The unit needed a brand new kitchen that was falling apart with cabinets hanging from their tired hinges, all in a very dark outdate kitchen. The old bathroom had mold, holes in the walls, cracked tiled floors and some plumbing leaks...an ugly site overall. Our meeting went well, because I explained to her what I needed to be done, in a professional, organized manner. She looked at the unit carefully and asked me what finishes and materials I was in favor of?From the get go she understood my goal and tailored a package that satisfied my needs in every way. Knowing that she had all the certifications and licenses needed to work in a condominium building in Manhattan, put me more at ease.. I also needed to know the time frame it would take for the job to be completed, which to my suprise was estimated at only two weeks!! I was very happy after she showed me a few of her completed projects, so I decided to hire her for the job. It took a month to get the paperwork approved by the building, but right adter that, her crew came in, just like a group of trained surgeons, they extracted out the old and replaced it with the new. Indeed after the second week, I could not believe how fast, and with what precision her crew worked on the job. Needeless to say that after the renovation I was very satisfied with her choice of materials, design, and colors for the bathroom and the kitchen. The premises was left spotless every night. The completed office, built in closets and marble bathroom are beautiful. Her attention to details is unsurpassed. A few items, like hand painted (by Janine) leather pillows, are works of art. She came up with a unique design, to feature my industry placards and photos with celebrities, without having to nail anything to the wall. This way, I can add pictures to my collection, in a very easy, pleasing to the eye way. I am extremely happy with the job that Janine Dray Designs provided.
