My husband and I enjoy visiting Home Interior Warehouse. We worked with Jackie Schwartz, Owner and Interior Designer, to help furnish and decorate our new home. Jackie is very skilled at creating beautiful spaces and her staff is friendly and patient. Visiting the store is a wonderful experience. The possibilities are endless and suit a wide range of tastes. The store offers everything for the home including art, furniture, window treatments, accessories and even patio and deck furniture. Jackie made sure everything we needed was well coordinated and stunning. The store offers beautiful quality furniture and Jackie stands behind every piece. I highly recommend visiting the store and working with their design services.

The showroom is packed with samples and accessories that can't be found in typical furniture stores. Darlene is very helpful in finding signature pieces to turn our former "teen cave" basement into a warm and comfortable retreat.

So happy that I chose HIW for our family room furnishings renovation. The store has a wonderful array of furniture/decor, for every taste and style. Jackie, Darlene and the entire staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Darlene's design expertise assistance (at home/in store) was great; she made the process enjoyable and easy! There are no words to describe the talent of Jackie and her team. She completed a huge interior design undertaking for me. This is by far and away the best interior design/ sales place in the detroit metro area. We have worked with several designers before and Jaclyn Kruse is the best we have ever dealt with; she went out of her way and even came out to make sure the quality and fine details came together we will most certainly be using her again Juliane and Jordan Knepper

First let me say that I would give Home Interior Warehouse 10 stars if I could!!! My story: recently, I had an addition built onto the back of my house that included a new family room, kitchen, butler's pantry, breakfast room, screened in porch and master bathroom. Well, I have hired many interior designers before, but I was hesitant to hire any of them again because none of them successfully made me feel at home in my house. No matter how I told them that something was just out of whack, I was told that it looked good and that I should leave it. When a friend recommended that I check out Home Interior Warehouse, I thought I'd check it out. When I walked in, I was just blown away! Gorgeous items from top to bottom. But, at the time, I really thought that I would never know how to assemble them all together. I had a list that was a mile long of things I needed to get done, and I was at a loss for how to do it. How would my house ever look as gorgeous as this store!? Well, we were in a bit of a rush, so my builder told me to select cabinet style, color, countertop color, paint colors, backsplash, hard wood floor color, and mudroom floor color all in a matter of a week!!! I started to get very anxious and was confident that I could NOT get it all done. (Keep in mind, I own my own company and have 2 school-aged children.) Not only was I unsure of what to do first (do cabinets come before granite, or vice-versa?), I was also unsure of my style preferences too! And, paint colors for all of the walls, forget about it! My brain couldn't take all of the decisions. I was so worried that I'd make a ton of mistakes. I knew, without help, this would cost me a fortune!!! Well, Jackie Schwartz and Home Interior Warehouse were the answer to all of my design problems. Jackie started with the floor color, cabinet (style and color), then wall color, countertops, then backsplash and then finalized all of the other items (fixtures, couches, tables, lamps, rugs, accessories, etc.) until every little item was absolutely perfect!! Note: I only gave her two requests: I asked for a beach home with some kind of coral and blue, and she pulled together the whole color palette with those two ideas. She has that special something; she isn't pushy, but she's confident. She is so good at what she does that even when she encouraged me to get something that I wasn't sure I'd love, I said: "Ok, let's just get it and see!" and, in my house, it looked FABULOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (Pics to come later!!) I recall sitting in the room, with all the new furniture in it, drinking a glass of wine, and thinking -- for once in my life, I won't be ashamed to have people over! I can finally have an open house! And a book club meeting here too! I now feel VERY PROUD of my new house and, when I'm away from it, I want to run home TO it! Jackie is calm, kind, patient, and EXCEPTIONALLY gifted at what she does. For example: as I mentioned above, I've had so many designers try to move furniture around my living room, but something was always just a wee bit off. Jackie notices everything. I never quite felt that my living room was finished, but I simply could not articulate it. Well, Jackie came in and gave one look at the fireplace (in all it's chipped red brick 1942 glory) and said: "we need to paint that." Sure enough, one coat of paint to complement my coral and beige colors, muted the background, warmed the room right up, and made it all come together!! Oh, and lest I forget, my house is in BETHESDA, MD, not in Detroit!! So, don't let geography stop you from using Jackie and HIW! Jackie -- I just love you. I just want to thank you for everything you've done for me to give me the home of my dreams. When I sit in my gorgeous Elegant Coastal home (love that term!), or dine at my snazzy dining table with my sparkling, crystal candlesticks, I will forever be thinking about you, and thanking you!!!!!!! And, I'll be calling you when we do our basement! (You're on speed dial now!)

Jackie and her staff at Home Interior Warehouse have been very helpful with renovating and furnishing my home. Jackie helped me through the entire selection process of my new kitchen. I have also used Home Interior Warehouse to re-furnish my living room, master bedroom, dining area, and guest room. Shopping at Home Interior Warehouse is always enjoyable, the inventory is unique and ever changing.

The design consultants at Home Interior Warehouse did a fantastic job with my home. They helped all the way from the beginning with builder selections, the paint colors, to the furniture and accessories that work best for my family. Would recommend and use again!

Extremely helpful and friendly staff. Darlene Is great to work with personally and listens to me. She actually hears what I am telling her without pushing her ideas on me. It's easy to tell her if I don't like sometime and she remembers the next time we are together. That is personal, and you know that you are not just another customer. That is a personal client relationship! When you are inviting someone in your home to help your create a space for YOU and your family your decorator needs to be intuitive and tasteful. I am currently working with and will continue to work with Darlene and the Warehouse until my new home is completed. I highly recommend the Home Interior Warehouse.
