Geoff designed our dream house in Grayton. My wife and I absolutely love it as does everyone who visits us. He is the best architect I’ve every met and I recommend him often to people looking to build around here.

Geoff designed our home in Watersound and we could not be more pleased. His attention to unique detail and the maximizing of every inch of space is unparalleled. I describe my home as comfortably elegant with a hint of quintessential Cape Cod style. We just love it!!

I have known Geoff for a long time, and always wanted him to help me design my first home that I would build. When that time finally came, I was so excited to be able to work with him! He really takes the time to get to know his clients tastes and preferences and works very hard to accommodate them. He's well versed in all architectural styles, but adds his own spin or artistic touch to every project. He met and exceeded all our expectations, did not ever miss a deadline, and the quality of work was excellent. It really was a pleasure to work with Geoff and his team and I would highly recommend this firm!

Geoff's appreciation for traditional "old florida" architecture combined with his ability to capture the look in today's modern design, results in a home of noteworthy distinction. Geoff's command of scale in interior spaces also creates an environment for families to enjoy for years to come.

Geoff designed our house in Inlet Beach Florida. It was important to us to have an architect who could work with us remotely since our primary home is in San Francisco. The communication was excellent and we were able to collaboratively work towards a design which met all of our goals. The key feature which brought us to Geoff was his sense of light in his interiors. His placement of windows and sense of flow creates a lightness to his houses. There is a timelessness to his designs that could flex between traditional to a modern depending on the finishes and furnishings. When touring the 30 A in Florida, it is easy to point out a Geoff Chick house: balanced, grounded and incredibly beautiful.

I was extremely reluctant to embark on designing and building a custom home while living in a different state, particularly since I did not know the reputations of not only local architects but of local builders, subcontractors, suppliers, etc. As I researched the architect behind homes of both locals and second home owners who I knew would only use the best professionals, Geoff’s name was by far the most common. At under 3,000 square feet, I knew my home would be rather modest compared to most of Geoff’s work. However, he immediately agreed to take on my project and patiently designed a beautiful home that is now half way through construction. He has never suggested or otherwise made me feel that my project is modest or less important in any way, and his counsel and candor throughout the design process, bid process and building process have been truly invaluable. He selected five high quality bidders for my project in order to keep it as competitive as possible, guided me through interpreting the nuance of each bid and identified the top contenders to interview. He knew exactly which one was perfectly matched to my personality, and between the two of them (and their amazing employees and subs), the building process has been a pleasure. I was fortunate to be able to move to the area in time to oversee construction in person and to also begin working at a local design firm and retail store. The respect and praise for Geoff’s work have been universal, from not only the store owner, whose personal home was also designed by Geoff, but also from the areas other most talented builders and designers who support our store. I highly recommend Geoff to any other woman (or man) as reluctant to build as I was.

Working with Geoff Chick is an absolute pleasure. He listened to our ideas for our vacation home, and transformed them into a finished product that far exceeded our expectations. Geoff was personally involved with the project from start to finish and maintained excellent communication with us as well as our builder. Two years later, when we decided to make the area our permanent home, Geoff was our first call! We spent a lot of time picking an architect and we couldn't be happier with our choice. Geoff's "design DNA" fit perfectly with the vision we had for our dream house. His knowledge and understanding of the area and of good solid architectural engineering allowed us to maximize our views and yet still end up with a durable home, suitable for the harsh environment. Any architect can build you a storm proof bunker, but it takes talent to design both beauty and durability.

Our house has been under construction for nearly a year and soon we will be moving into our beautiful Geoff Chick home. All of my friends just love our house! Geoff also used the home site very well, making sure we used it to its full potential. The picture below will be updated once landscaping is done, but I wanted to share it.
