Forster Inc helped completely redesign a space for multiple uses - a Textile Reuse Hub that could act as a shop, an office for Yodomo, a workshop space and a studio for young makers. Rachel helped to redesign the space but was also briefed on the additional challenge of reusing furniture and materials wherever possible to align with our circular practice. The result was a better working space with clear zones for all core users and a much better experience for visitors - as well as reusing furniture and materials in ingenious ways. Highly recommended.

We had a very positive experience with Rachel doing the design and oversight (design oversight, not project management) of our residential renovation in London. She put a lot of thought into analysing the space and presenting a good number of alternative solutions during initial design. She anticipated problems well ahead of time and we avoided a lot of common pitfalls we might otherwise have encountered. She was present at all the right moments during design and construction, responded quickly to vary plans where necessary and was impressive in person, guiding us to decisions quickly with a well-judged level of her personal aesthetic input to build on our own preferences. We would certainly have been lost without her experienced input and advice. She elevated the project to something far beyond what we would have otherwise achieved.

We used Forster Inc in our old home, and then when we moved we knew that we wanted to work with her again. She reviewed our new flat, knowing us and our needs and worked with us to redesign rooms, design and plan built in furniture and storage and to project manage the work. Working with Rachel feels like collaboration, she makes simple suggestions that are transformative seeing things you wouldn't have thought of, and takes your ideas and makes them better and more beautiful than you thought possible.

We hired Rachel initially due to a lack of storage in our flat. The design led storage solutions that Rachel came up with have absolutely transformed where we live, whilst creating a designer feel to the flat. Without Rachel's contacts, experience and expertise, we would never have been able to come up with an end product anywhere near to what we have now. Her ability to think 'outside the box' while also implementing our own ideas, means we now live in a flat we enjoy spending time in, and are proud to show off to others.
