I specialize in eye-level decor & interior redesign, upscale apartment decor, and home staging - all with an emphasis on 'green', eco-friendly products. My trademark, however, is my focus on the eye-level as the focal point, using color and artwork to create the desired impact With the focal point addressed I reclaim furnishings and decor already owned by the client whenever possible. Often, in the transformation created by art and color, tired decor takes on a new life. I have worked successfully on all budgets. For twenty years I owned The Gallery at Hawthorne Plaza in Overland Park, Ks. and another in the Naples, Fl. area. My experiences with assisting clients purchasing artwork has added a layer of expertise to my design perspective by educating clients on the art market and the significance of adding fine art to their decor, also taking into account the appropriate framing and scale needed. Entire design projects evolved from the addition of the right piece of art, because once we had the dots connected at eye-level clients could visualize where to take the room. Artwork, if bought right, is not a disposable part of the decor.
