I met Elizabeth through a friend in Pawley's Island at her Interior Design Shop. I was wanting to re-do my living room and she really came through for me even though I lived in Hampstead, NC. She was very helpful in helping me choose the right paint colors for my walls, buying new furniture and picking out new pictures. I am very impressed with all of her decorating skills and would love to have her one day come in and redo my entire house. She is one of the sweetest ladies I have met.

ETS walked me through an entire house from start (electric sockets, etc) to finish (window treatments, etc) with an angelic grace and pleasantry ! She is a joy to work with and brings in a host of wonderful ideas without being too forceful. We would strongly recommend her interior designs!

I have used Elizabeth Taylor Satterfield Interior Design for my Pawleys Island beach house projects. She has lots of clever suggestions and she listens to her clients' ideas. She also has contacts with local artisans , paperhangers, carpenters,electricians,and such. We purchased our 6 BR /6B, house, fully furnished. We have replaced curtains in the downstairs Great room,Replaced the valance in the kitchen, added valances with trim to match the bedspreads, in the bedrooms, added lots of pillow shams and pillows to match the custom bed coverings, put up wallpaper in every bathroom, made customized shower curtains for every bath,replaced lamps in every bedroom,added upholstered chairs in bedrooms, reupholstered existing chairs in the Great room, painted an outdated buffet and matching mirror, a lovely light turquoise and added sparkly knobs,and most recently, we replaced all the cushions on the outside porches with a tropical print , corded with a contrasting welt.

Elizabeth and her team are true professionals. They have helped us decorate 5 different properties and we have been more impressed each time. They have great taste, a wonderful selection of items and understand how to make a house a home. We would recommend her to anyone that is seeking the best in interior design.

I had a wonderful experience with Elizabeth. She helped us design and decorate our beach home. She worked to integrate the furniture we already had with wonderful new things. Her paint and fabric choices were spot on. She always took in to consideration our personal needs and customized everything to us. When we had an unexpected health crisis during building, she stepped in with the contractor and kept it all going with great decisions and recommendations. Elizabeth meet with our partners on a Saturday morning and listened to what we wanted to do to update our beach house. We set a budget and she worked with us to get it done. She kept us informed throughout the process of our progress and was willing to regroup when we were approaching the budget limit. What I enjoyed the most about her was her honesty, integrity, flexibility and professionalism! She was willing to "repurpose" furniture that was usable within the new plan, but wasn't afraid to tell us when one of our ideas wasn't going to work. Her patience in dealing with opinions of different partners was to be admired. We purchased some of our new furniture from another decorator in the area. She happily worked with them to bring the project to fruition. Not only did we get a lot done for our money, but we also made a new lifetime friend!

In this past year Elizabeth has updated four areas in our home that provided our family with a wonderful, warm, and comfortable environment. In my opinion, Elizabeth knows everything about: colors, paint, fabric, flooring, cabinets, countertops, furniture, home accessories (lamps, wall décor, etc.). All the projects that Elizabeth has completed for our home have been finished in a very timely manner at a very reasonable cost.

As a newcomer to the area, I can only say wonderful things about Elizabeth & her staff. To begin with, she is warm & friendly and makes you feel so at ease and welcome to the area. She comes to your home to review the furniture and accessories that you already have to work with and incorporates her expertise with your own tastes to work everything together with window treatments, pictures, lamps, tables and other accessories. She even helps hang your pictures! I have been so happy with everything she has helped me with and would highly recommend her.

We first used Elizabeth Taylor Satterfield Interior Design in 1998 when our group purchased our under construction condo at Litchfield By the Sea in Pawleys Island, SC. We worked with Elizabeth to decorate our condo at that time and she has helped us keep it updated over the years. Elizabeth worked with us on our new home. She was extremely helpful in all aspects of the new build. She understood our taste and had great ideas for the look we were going for. Always had a variety of samples for us to choose from. We lived out of state during the build so when we were in town we had meetings set up where she would either met at the house or at her shop. I wish I could give Elizabeth 6 stars! My sister-in-law and I recently updated our beach house living room and den. We have quite different tastes, but Elizabeth Taylor Satterfield came up with a design scheme that both of us loved! As our house is quite dated, she didn't have a lot to work with, but she cheerfully and expertly pulled together beautiful fabrics to recover our old furniture. She always kept our budget in mind and bent over backwards to save us money. Her pleasant personality and sense of humor were added bonuses. In her store, we found great furniture and art work to complete the two rooms. Her retail shop is brimming with beautiful furniture and accessories. ! In short, Elizabeth is the complete package. She kept the original simple, clean, open style, and reused a louver door as a headboard in the master bedroom. We did this project with me living 3000 miles away.
