We wholly recommend Earthshare to anyone in the Upper Valley. Ethan and his subcontractors are timely, honest, flexible, and efficient. They gut-renovated two bathrooms for us, and updated almost all facets of our recently purchased house that had not been lived in for a decade. It was large project, and they completed it right on time (even with all the extra covid precautions we had to take). Their prices were reasonable and we were never surprised with surcharges. I have worked with Ethan on several projects and have been very pleased with all aspects of these collaborations. He and his team are pleasant, professional, thorough and timely. The end results have been beautiful. Ethan, himself, is an excellent listener and offers great Green and cost savings ideas when necessary.

We have contracted with Earthshare Construction to design and restore a 19th century Vermont farmhouse. We chose Earthshare Construction because of owner Ethan Cole's commitment to the environment, knowledge of period home construction, responsiveness to our questions, and an overall balance of authority and openness to our design requests. We originally planned on tackling the project ourselves believing our remodeling projects over the past 30 years would suffice. We decided to call a few contractors in just to see if we were on the right track. I was sold on Ethan as the contractor for us when he quickly assessed our view and stated "We need to find a way to bring the outdoors in!" Throughout the design stage Ethan has been true to that vision and has recognized the beauty of incorporating and retrofitting original aspects of the house. Our design plans do just that in an environmentally responsible way. We begin construction in the next few weeks and look forward to working with Ethan over the next year.
