This was the best construction experience from beginning to end. Elida was professional, punctual, very knowledgeable and a joy to work with. We started the project by going over ideas and she listened to my wishes for esthetics and style. She then created a sketch from our talks and once we had the concept I looked for fixtures. She recommended places to go and advised what to pay attention to and we discussed what would work and why. Once the appliances were selected Elida drafted the architectural drawings and we began interviewing contractors. I think we talked to six different companies and it was great to have Elida's insight and technical knowledge to lean on. She was specific, listened and worked with the contractors in a direct and collaborative way. She and I were always in alignment on the pros and cons of the different companies. Once we agreed on the contractor she went to the city for permit and made it happen without a hitch. Elida stayed in touch with the contractor and my self during the entire process and was always willing to accommodate the schedule when she needed to come over and meet with him. All projects have their challenges but I have to say this had absolutely none other than the normal material delay from manufacturer which had nothing to do with Elida or the contractor. My kitchen is everything I dreamed of and then some. Elida's creative eye and ideas coupled with a superb craftsman contractor made it into the place to be in my house! The addition of a bow window and carrying through the arches already present, to the under counter and built in lighting made the small kitchen look and feel bigger. The added detail of curved counters and edges and the lay out of the hood and the shelves that tie across the window is beautiful. I joke and say "now I just have to move my bed in the kitchen and everything is perfect!" It is my style, my wish and beauty all in one; Elida's design, creativity and detail hit it out of the park. I have worked with Elida for over 25 years and her unique designs have always been my favorite projects to build. It's always fun to be part of a project that when it's done everyone is blown away by the finished product. She is hands on with every project to assure no details are overlooked, a true artist and fun to work with.

My husband and I have worked with Architecture Studio in several remodels since 2002, including the design of a showroom in San Francisco, the interior design of a condominium in Seattle and 2 residences in Marin County. Elida has been consistent throughout these years with her creative solutions to the challenging problems that our buildings presented. We have always been impressed by her endless patience and ability to deal with building officials and by her collaborations with contractors to see our projects through to the end. Elida is an architect and an interior designer. We like the way she integrates both disciplines from the start of the project making it easier for us to visualize her designs. This, in its turn, allowed us to contribute ideas that she incorporated into the design in ways that we would never have imagined!

I have had the privilege of working with Elida Doldan Schujman, AIA, CID for over 15 years on many of our mutual clients’ projects. She is an outstanding architect who is focused, extremely detail-oriented, intelligent, and has the vision of turning any project into a majestic reality. Elida works extremely well the general contractor and subcontractors to achieve the perfect finished project. I retained Elida for my own project which was an extensive complete home remodel. Elida had to take over the role of the project manager to ensure that the plans became reality. She worked diligently with the subcontractors and had the “eye” to notice deficiencies which others had missed. The most significant quality of Elida, in my opinion, is her remarkable vision far in advance of the finished product. She has the ability to hold contractors responsible until they meet her expectations.

We have had Architecture Studio provide us with design for several of our projects, the latest being our South Tahoe cabin remodel. Every time, our experience was extremely positive, as the designs were clever and beautiful. My husband and I had the pleasure of working with Elida Doldan Schujman to design and develop a wine cellar. The project's expectations grew when we met Elida who gave us her insight to design a wine cellar and completely finish the construction of the basement and garage. This required extensive demolition, foundation repair, new heating system, and a very technical architectural design. Elida managed the entire project. Every detail was presented after careful research and listening to our requirements. We were extremely pleased with the results. Working with Elida was a wonderful experience. Her creative ideas and attention to the details made the difference in converting our basement to a wine cellar, gym, workshop, cedar closet, and inventory closet.
