Duet design is simply the best! Their process is amazing and makes it so easy as the client. I have worked with other firms before and the experience required much more of my time and energy. Duet has an amazing eye to transform your space without taxing the client. Love them so much and highly recommend.

Duet Design nailed our style and the final product was simply amazing! It’s pretty incredible how they were able to utilize a questionnaire, a fabric quiz, and general observations about how we live to create a warm and inviting, yet cohesive and unique home that is reflective of us. And not only are they great with design and style; they run an efficient, client-focused business: (1) organized and communicative – Duet provides a high level timeline at the start of the process, and they stick to it! They stay on top of situations as they arise and communicate updates in a timely manner; (2) excellent service – solutions oriented with thoughtful responses to any questions, and always willing to go the extra mile; (3) excellent relationships with vendors who know their craft well – the teams they bring into your home are professional, courteous, respectful and efficient. What an incredible firm! We could not be happier with the entire process; from design to implementation everything was done to perfection. Duet Design Group (DDG), is incredibly thorough, intelligent, professional, visionary, and amazing. Not the cookie-cutter designer that looks at magazines for the latest trends and then plops them in your house. No, this firm takes the painstaking time to meet with you numerous times, has you touch fabrics, react to colors, all sorts of hands-on activities. Then they go to their "lab" and create YOUR design. Their team is incredible with communication, ordering, customer service, any thing you need. Every single detail was implemented without any sort of delay, issue, or concern. They did our construction management also and what a relief that is to the homeowner. They talk the language of contractors, they have the eye to detail to tell when the contractor is cutting a corner, and they know when to call b.s. While I thought I was capable of handling the construction, it was SUCH a relief to entrust DDG with that process. Lastly, the staging at the end was so exciting. We walked into our home exactly how we imagined and hoped it would look. They wowed us beyond. I cannot say enough great things about DDG. They get it, they rock it, they are it!

We hired Duet to assist us with the design of the first floor of our house. Our prior experience with interior designers was riddled with unsatisfactory results and confusion about what we were paying for. Our experience with Duet could not have been more different than that. We understood from the beginning exactly what the costs were and what the ultimate budget would be. And then Duet took it from there. We were completely insulated from the logistics, problem solving, and hard work that inevitably went into achieving the amazing end result. I had always been intimidated by interior design but Duet made me feel so at ease. I am so happy and proud of the space we get to live in every day. In crafting the design, Duet was particularly attuned to the realities of how we live -- three children under the age of 7 and a dog. We give Duet our highest possible recommendation.

There is no way to put into words what an amazing job Duet Design Group does. Our house is beyond anything we ever could have expected. My wife and I were looking for a full service designer. We had no interest in managing contractors or dealing with the minutia of a large project. We are not good at picking the small items that make a house feel complete or coming up with a comprehensive design that would make the house feel cohesive. We interviewed a few different groups, but after meeting Devon and Miranda we instantly knew that Duet was what we needed. It was clear that they can handle any style (ours was French country/farmhouse industrial) and they do a phenomenal job of taking your taste/style and elevating it. You may think that you have good taste, but trust me, theirs is better. We were looking for a level of luxury, but it had to be functional and withstand our 3 children, the surprise baby we found out about during the project, and our malamute. They more than delivered. Their pricing is extremely detailed and clear. They will tell you up front that they aren't going to be the cheapest, but our experience was that you more than get what you pay for. We originally planned on a somewhat limited project, but had them plan out the entire house, with the idea that we would probably proceed in phases. In the end we actually ended up doing almost the entire thing. We essentially gutted our house including a few internal structural changes, added wood ceilings/beams, and had them pick everything including paint, furniture, art, dishes, silverware, towels, lighting,....literally everything. We took the tact that while we couldn't picture everything they had in mind, they're great at what we do, and we were going to trust them. They recommended two different contractors, which we interviewed at their office. We went with the group that seemed to mesh with our personalities, and could not have had a better experience....in fact I've never actually heard of anyone having as good an experience with a contractor (it was C4 in Denver in case you're wondering). They had worked with Duet before and clearly respected the quality of the design work. When we had our "reveal," to say that it was beyond anything we ever could have hoped for would be a wild understatement. They are absolutely phenomenal. Their taste and work was amazing down to the smallest detail. I'd give them 6 stars if it were an option.

We contacted Duet Design in August 2018 to remodel our 30 year old home when moving back from Singapore. Devon Tobin and Kate Rainwater helped us through a questionnaire of our design preferences, putting a detailed proposal based on our design preferences together with the work to be done, furnishings and art to be purchased and estimated cost and a project plan which was completed on time in April 2019. Throughout our 9 month work with them and Joe Merryman from Denver Construction Company, we had a partnership to work together on making the house what we wanted which is a place we wanted to live in for the next 20 years which was functional and comfortable. We have been very pleased with the outcome and love our remodeled home. While we spent more than we had planned, we were able to change many of the shortcomings of our home into something which really works for our family and makes our home more of what we wanted when we bought it in 2013.

Hired Miranda in 2017 to design a complete gut/remodel of my Park Hill home. The process went really well and they listened to my needs and had interactive sessions to get me comfortable with the designs. She was firm during all the right decisions and in the end, I handed over most of the decision making to her and her team. The results have been incredible. She worked closely with Rob Bacher, with Bacher Construction, to bring the project to light. Everything they did was exceptional and even breathtaking. I've done projects in the past where my relationship with the contractor was contentious, so I also hired Miranda to be an intermediary with the GC, which worked great. I would highly suggest this approach. I've attached four pictures as that is all they would allow on Houzz. However, every room they touched turned out stunning and perfect. They maximized every room and did bold colors and textures that brought so much life to my home. I absolutely love everything they did. Highly recommend working with Miranda Cullen. She knows her sh*t, will stand up for what she knows is right and is great to work with. Kudos to MC and the DDG team!

Miranda and her team where amazing at helping me bring my Busienss concept into live! She went above and beyond accommodating my busy schedule and added every extra touch I imagined. The end result was incredible, beyond what what I dreamed could be possible. In addition to the design, I needed help coordinating and manage the entire project. This included purchasing and receiving, managing budgets, pulling permits, coordinating and managing the contractors, final inspection of their work and set up of the furniture. I needed a turn key renovation. THEY DID IT ALL

We moved from out of state and started from scratch with a new home in a 55+ community. We spent hours up front with Miranda, ensuring she had a clear picture of our style and how we wanted our home to feel - light, open, warm and welcoming. She guided us every step of the way, beginning with helping us at the builder's design center with all finishes, fixtures, etc., saving us many hours of time while we were still living far away. She and her team developed a master plan which included furnishing each room, window treatments, light fixtures, every detail. If there was an item we didn't want or like, she gave us alternatives. When everything was complete and we came in for our "reveal," I was overwhelmed with emotion - it was everything we had hoped for and more. A few things needed to be addressed afterwards, and the staff at Duet, particularly Kimberly, followed up with each item on our list, quickly and professionally. We are completely satisfied and wholeheartedly recommend Miranda and Duet Design Group!

Look no further and avoid the design mistakes we made before engaging Duet Design Group Principle Devon Tobin with our project! To provide a little background … we recently retired and sold all our belonging from our previous life in a suburb of Chicago. We were looking to create a totally newly designed and updated space for our Denver home. Once we shared our vision in detail we let go and let Devon do what she does best, create epic and gorgeous interiors. We asked Devon Tobin to create a warm and comfortable interior for the whole house that was timeless but also had incorporated a little glamour and panache and would be relaxed enough for our kids and grand-kids who visit a couple times a year. The whole project was completed on-time and within budget. We knew every single line item for what we were purchasing which included furniture, lighting fixtures, window treatments, wall paper, bed-linens, carpets, marble, quartz, faucets, toilets, kitchen appliances, accessories, and art. The whole shebang! Devon introduced us to one of the firms’ contractors Kevin Yuran who owns K. Andrew Construction. He was outstanding, very communicative, and honest. We moved out of the house which we highly recommend because it allows the sub-contractors to complete the project without interruption and shaved off considerable time in getting it completed. Devon and her team completed our install in one day and we stayed away until it was done. When my husband and I arrived, and walked through the front door we were overcome with emotion because everything was so beautiful and just as we envisioned our home to be. We could not be more ecstatic with the outcome. In addition to a complete and beautiful interior design for the whole house, Devon designed an epic new kitchen, gorgeous bathrooms, warm and inviting living and dining rooms and bedroom spaces. The result is we have a spectacular home that will stay relevant for a very longtime.

We moved into a new home and wanted to update our furnishing, but had no idea how to best incorporate our old furniture/art/rugs, etc with new, so turned to Duet Design for help. Duet exceeded our expectations (which were already fairly high), on time and on budget. What we liked most: 1. Professionalism - Devon knows what she is doing, as does her entire staff. We were amazed by how well they figured out what we would like/not like (via a questionnaire, favorite pictures, and feedback on a pile of fabrics/textures) and how they pulled together comprehensive designs that we fell in love with when we saw them executed (and we're pretty picky.) 2. Network of contractors - Duet has relationships with extremely competent contractors who could do just about anything. Duet knows who is best and has clearly fostered good relationships with them. The work we had done (built-in installation, painting, re-carpeting, wallcoverings, window coverings) was excellent. We never had to worry. The quality of the furniture and accessories was extremely high as well. 3. Duet's process - Duet proposed a much more comprehensive approach than the two other designers that we initially considered, which we believe will benefit us in the long-run. As opposed to just tackling the few thorny rooms/issues we were struggling with (eg. wanted more light in the family room), Duet asked us to choose which rooms we wanted to focus on and what we wanted to keep, then actually catalogued everything we owned (including artwork. Keeping our goals in mind, they developed a complete design for each room, including wallcoverings, built-ins, furniture, artwork, accessories, etc. that delivered more than just the specific solution we were seeking. We loved the designs, so instead of piece-mealing one project after another with a typical designer, we decided to re-think our budget to tackle complete rooms instead of specific issues/partial room re-do's. I think this will actually save us $$ over the long run. (And the rooms really do look great!) Duet was a lot of fun to work with. We highly recommend them and may work with them again ourselves.

We just wrapped up our project with Duet Design and couldn’t be happier with the results! “Is this really our house?!” - That’s truly how we felt when we walked in for the final reveal. To provide some background, we evaluated many options before selecting Duet. Devon & Miranda (as well as their team) brought a level of expertise, attention to our needs, sensitivity to our budget, and downright STYLE to the table! All these important factors came together and gave us an incredible level of comfort entering into the project. They have such a flexible approach to the project, but with the needed experience/insight to make anything a success (all while protecting/building the value of the home….great market intelligence). For example, we had them redesign our entire house, but work with the majority of existing furniture, art work, etc. We can’t imagine changing anything in the house now, which is definitely a new (and much welcomed) feeling! Duet is also unique due to their incredible network of trusted trades/contractors/etc. We couldn’t get over the professionalism, timeliness and attention to detail that each demonstrated throughout the project. People always say that you always need to add at least 20%+ to any project and that’s just the way it is with everyone. Not in Duet’s case…..they came in spot on! Unheard of and we are very happy we found them. It makes sense that they’re getting so much positive press in major magazines, etc. and we wish them all the best!
