Dana Benson Construction is OUTSTANDING. We hired DBC to do a large residential project, and enjoyed working with Dana, Grace, and their entire team from the first plans to the last coat of paint. (Yes -- we enjoyed the process. Immensely.) From design to implementation through follow-up, everyone was responsive, creative, and did high-quality work. I hired Dana Benson Construction for a complete remodel of my new home. I took a leap of faith and went with DBC over contractors I had used in the past based on the strength of his portfolio, Houzz reviews and recommendations, and the clear professionalism with which Dana and his team approached the consultation and bidding process. I am extremely happy with the outcome. We had a very tight time frame for the remodel and DBC did a beautiful job on time and on budget. He is very creative in thinking through cost effective solutions. He suggested some design elements, including Moorish arches and beams, that I had not thought of that are now some of my favorite parts of the home. His team was very flexible, helpful, organized, courteous and respectful of my family's time, comfort and safety. A top to bottom remodel is stressful-- no matter what, something will not go exactly according to plan. The difference between DBC and other contractors is that every time a challenge arose, they just took care of it. Immediately. No excuses or push back. They just made it right. It was really refreshing, and that professionalism and positive attitude turned an inherently stressful experience in to an enjoyable one. He worked seamlessly with my designer Sarah Nichols of Sarah Elizabeth Interiors. I had a great team. So much so that I didn't stop with the inside of the house and have now hired both of them to tackle the back yard. I highly recommend Dana Benson Construction. Their work is beautiful and the customer service is top notch.

As a designer I loved working with Dana. The best contractors respect the design process and care about all the little details, Dana is one of those contractors. He understands design and is a great team player / problem solver. He called when he needed clarification on the design drawings or intent (which is kind of a big deal) and he leaves his ego at the door making it a pleasure to work with him. The subs he brought on the job were great too. I think projects are the most successful when everyone is able to work together for the good of the client and with Dana you get a contractor that really cares about producing projects of quality and respecting the design process. I would gladly work on another project with Dana.

Hello all. I worked with Dana for the full year 2014 on building my new home. His work is beautiful and high quality. In particular he did an amazing job on several customized parts of the house including windows, doors, stairs, railings etc. I'd also like to point out that Dana has really good Taste.
