Custer Design Group

We called the Custer Design Group because we had seen their work elsewhere. We ordered faux wood Venetian blinds from them. The designer helped us to chose the right product and color, and the gentleman who measured and installed the blinds was very professional and accurate. The blinds themselves are beautiful, fit perfectly, and have a very high-end look. They will serve their purpose for many, many years. We were especially happy to know that they are made in the United States and that they have a distribution center only miles from our house. The whole experience of dealing with Custer Design Group was very pleasurable. We recommend them heartily.

We hired Renee Custer from Custer Design Group to help with designing our new baby room. We ended up purchasing a dresser, crib, glider and ottoman. From the start to finish she was extremely professional in dealing with all of our baby room wants and must haves, while working with our budget. We had different fabric samples and color samples for all the furniture which included fabric and wood. We ended up picking out beautiful Basset furniture with her expert guidance along the way. I couldn't be happier with the quality of the work or the process Custer followed on the renovations of my house. The design professionals were meticulous in their selections and they have all the latest samples right in their showroom which made it easy for me. They removed a 7 foot Jacuzzi and an old shower and totally redid my master bath with all new cabinetry and tile. On the exterior, they sealed, painted and added stone to the exterior of my cedar home. It looks like new again. To quote a friend "It looks like something out of a magazine." The construction professionals are not only knowledgeable and excellent at what they do but they are courteous as well. I knew I was in good hands from the start and am extremely pleased with the outcome.

When I moved my business to Harrisburg early in 2012, my new landlady recommended that I put myself in Jenny's capable hands. Personally, Jenny was knowledgeable, with a very impressive showroom, and good about working with my ideas and budget. Through Custer Design Group, we had our sign done, flooring and wallpaper. The wallpapering was not an easy job, and although there were flaws, it was acceptable. It was by no means cheap, and the flooring was very poorly executed. The carpet, which was so carefully chosen for it's excellent commercial warranty, has a run right in the middle of the showroom floor, and the linoleum in the backrooms was done in a hurry. It was not sealed at the seams, and it had bubbles under the center. I complained, and they sent someone who looked at it and pronounced it acceptable, no redress. After 2 years of use, the edges (in a doorway) are chipped and curled, and the bubbles have split, broken, and curled. The linoleum desperately needs replaced. I would be happy to provide photographs.

I am a potential homeowner. I found Custer homes online searching for home ideas decided to make a visit to have a sit down and descuss details of homebuilding process. The woman at the front desk offered me a cup of water and she seemed to be a pleasant person. that stuck with me and I appreciated their service. Everyone that I spoke with there seem to be humble and friendly peopel. Their service seems to be great from the moment you first step in the door!
