Creative Woodwork: Horrible experience Our experience with Creative Woodwork was horrible. We have used many bespoke suppliers in the past, but unlike them Creative Woodwork (CW) let us down badly. The list of problems we encountered with them is too long to enumerate, but in general the firm suffers from terrible internal and customer communications as well as faulty delegation of portions of their work to other suppliers who, in our case, did a really bad job, reflecting negatively on CW and its owner. Without telling us, CW outsourced the installation of two of the three units we commissioned to another firm who not only failed to install our units properly, but damaged them in ways that are beyond repair. Hence we are left with an imperfect product, even after months of remedial repair. At first, the owner falied to report the problems to us ( most likely because he did not inspect them) and did not tell us he had subcontracted the installation work. He then sent people ( some from CW and some from other firms) in who often showed up late and sometimes did not know what they were meant to be repairing showing clearly the dodgy communication between owner and client and owner and employees. CW has offered us a tiny discount on their final bill, but it certainly does not compensate us for not having the product for which we contracted, the time and effort required to get the remedial work done and the angst we suffered due to poor communication and denial of responsibility. Avoid this supplier at all costs…

I am absolutely blown away with how fantastic the built in unit, which I had installed, over the fireplace. The workmanship is brilliant. The guys who came on site, to install, were very respectful and cleaned after each day. Incredible talent and will certainly recommend and use again.

When I decided to finally get my box room sorted out as a study, I contacted Creative Woodwork after seeing some of their work on Pinterest and Instagram. I wanted something very similar to one of their previous projects- essentially, a simple floating desk and shelves that went across one wall of the box room. Marc and his team were helpful and responsive as soon as I got in touch with them. The fitting process itself took a couple of days and the fitters were friendly, polite and efficient. The price was probably not the cheapest I could have found, but the general craftsmanship, and the quality of the desk and shelves and the bespoke measurements and fitting for my specific space justified the price. It's made what was once an unloved junk room into a jewel of a study! I'm very pleased with it and would recommend Creative Woodwork to anyone looking for quality carpenters.

Marc and his team were creative, technically excellent and very patient. They designed and built 3 fitted wardrobes, a walk-in wardrobe, bespoke laundry room and a cloakroom. Marc's initial sketches bought to life our ideas, he listened to endless discussions about door handles and paint finishes, then his technical skill and his craftsmen turned the sketches into a reality that far exceeded our expectations. I would highly recommend Creative Woodwork.

Marc was one of my best finds when I gutted my terraced London townhouse. He is creative, highly professional, a perfectionist, approachable and dependable. Not only did he make all my closets, build-in shelves and window seats, desks, bathroom cabinet and bespoke mirrored sliding doors, TV cabinet, but he also undid and re-installed the pocket doors that my original builder completely botched. I would definitely work with him again and highly recommend him.

Marc and his team deliver an outstanding quality product and easy-to-work-with service. He went out of his way to find more economical solutions to our design requirements and the outcome was beyond expectations.

Delighted with all aspects of this service, from design through to installation. The design is both creative and practical - hoorah! The installation was perfect - well mannered, pleasant and skilled crafts people. Finished work admired by all.

We arrived in the UK not having any idea of whom to call for bespoke wardrobes and cabinets for our oddly shaped rooms. Finding Creative Woodwork was great karma as Marc and his crew manufactured and installed carpentry that added functionality and beauty to our new home. The devil is in the details and Creative Woodwork nailed the details. Soft close drawers, upscale detailing and excellent finishes.

Marc and his team have been fantastic. The quality of their work is superb. When we refurbished our bedroom, we had specific ideas of what we wanted for our wardrobe. We had done extensive research into different wardrobe providers and we received quotes from our builder and several high street providers. None of them were able to provide us with all the features we wanted, within our budget, except Creative Woodwork. Their craftsmanship and specialised knowledge went beyond what any other company were able to give us. The result is just what we wanted – and everyone who sees our wardrobes ask about them. Marc and his team work accurately, neatly and have provided a high spec product. We would definitely recommend them!

I had a bespoke work station made and installed by Creative and I love it! They were patient with me during the development process and the result was a work station that met all my needs and more!

We instructed Creative Woodwork to build for us a side unit in our living room. Measurements were taken and CAD drawings provided for approval. Small change was promptly accepted and a new drawing was issued. Fitters came and took great length in ensuring everything was in order. Very happy with the result . Strongly recommended.
