Our experience with Carolyn Rand Interior Design was phenomenal. She is so creative, artistic and shared with me the vision I had for building and decorating our new home. She was sensitive to our budget and always was considerate of deadlines. Carolyn worked with the builder, architects and me in the designing each and every room...wood design and architectural detailing. We worked on space planning, lighting and selection of furniture and accessories throughout the building process. It was important to me that my house show as inviting, casual, and comfortable to all my family and friends. Carolyn accomplished all of this and more. I can't say enough about her and consider her more than a designer, but also a friend! Thank you "Tinker Bell" (nickname) for everything you did to make our house a HOME! Your Pixie Dust is spread all over and it showcases your brilliant work!

For over 20 years, we have engaged Carolyn’s artistry in the redesign of our home. From a major redesign of the kitchen (removing walls and adding the latest in design features and appliances) to the transformation of our basement into an inviting library, office, and living space including the addition of a half-bath. Currently, Carolyn is updating our family room with refreshed walls, recessed lighting, new carpet and furniture, plus commissioned art work positioned above the fireplace. She is a joy to work with, respectful of our preferences but, to our delight, is also eager to open our eyes to an even clearer vision of what works for us in our home.

Carolyn is an accomplished and masterful artist, as interior design is really about creating art in three dimensions. She has a crystal clear vision of the finished space based on her gift of visualizing our dreams, desires, and needs. Carolyn was able to clearly communicate this vision to everyone involved, the home owners, the architect, the builder, and the artisans. She works from a comprehensive, well designed plan and truly enjoys the process. She saved us money and time along the way to a beautiful result! It was our great pleasure to work with Carolyn on our new build!! She was with us every step of the way from the architects table to move in day and beyond. We look forward to working with her again on our next project!!

Carolyn guided us through a one room addition and several small updates throughout our home. We were so pleased with the results that we are now using her to do a complete remodel of a vacation home. Carolyn's high level of professionalism and efficiency allow her to work effectively at every level of a project as well as establish productive relationships with everyone involved. She is extremely organized, and demonstrates great follow-up and attention to detail. We have always been given very clear expectations for billing, deliveries, timelines, etc. Her creative input has been invaluable! She has a true talent for identifying what will work best for our specific needs and lifestyle. We appreciate her willingness to tailor her work style to ours...providing complete direction where needed, but remaining open to input and ideas in other areas. We enjoy working with Carolyn, and are truly grateful for all of the time she is devoting to getting us through our current project. We are very pleased with her vision for the house, and would not have taken on the challenges of this long-distance project without her!

Carolyn is a very talented interior designer who is extremely conscientious of her client's personality and tastes in addition to being very thorough and organized in her design planning. Also she has a unique talent for using client's art or special furnishings incorporating them into the design of the space. She has been at the helm of 3-4 projects for us since 2009, from redecorating a TV room, living room, an office & second bath, to total redesign of kitchen and master bath.
